That's fairly lame, if true. Companion stuff ought to be totally separate from the class storyline.

What does that mean? Do you mean it will only move forward if I have a Light level? (i.e., Light 1 or 2?)

So - I have 10k affection with Ashara, and all the stories have dried up; I'm not being offered any romance stories. As the sole option for a male character... I kind of want to see that part of the story. What did I miss? Is there something more than just max affection I need? Or...?

My main issue with choosing Gunslinger would be the Cover mechanic. I don't like it that much. It's not "awful," but it's not the coolest mechanic ever introduced in an MMO.. heh. But... I like the idea of, well, guns. Mmmm...guns.

It'll be hard to decide between Scoundrel and Gunslinger... Heh.

Are there any interesting (but workable) hybrid-type builds out there for Scoundrel? I don't mind experimenting; just looking for a starting point to avoid totally reinventing the wheel.

Do Scoundrels use guns much? I definitely want at least SOME gun-using. I mean... we know who has to shoot first, yes?

My "main" (if it can be called that) is a Level 38 Sith Sorcerer, but the lore/look/"flavor" of the Smuggler keeps calling me (even though I don't overly dig the current incarnation of the Cover mechanic), so I'm planning to re-roll as a Smuggler. I have a more or less static duo with a long term friend who will be playing a Jedi Shadow for this duo. Keeping in mind that I DON'T want to full-time heal, what are some good/interesting/flexible choices for a Smuggler character? I don't mind playing weird/"different"/less-than-zomg-the-best type builds.

Ah - cool! Thanks. I never thought to check the Jedi look stuff, as it doesn't really look that "Jedi-y" to me, at least not combined with the hat and gun.

What are the rest of the items being worn in that shot? VERY nice look.

I see what you mean about the Form synergies and such. Makes hybridizing hard. :/
