  1. Thanks Eshinai! I thought this might be the case, I appreciate someone confirming what I suspected and not just calling me an idiot and telling me I'm doing something wrong because they solo'd it sooooo easily! I've been playing this game since launch, not everyday-all-day like some, but three nights a week with my two friends. We've played as a group since day one and we know how to play the game and just found it very odd that on the two missions leading up to Angral that it suddenly got so difficult. As I stated before, we have breezed through all our other missions. We definitely have difficulty with the three of us on some Heroic 4's, as we have found that they really need a 4th in most cases and don't always go well with 3 and a companion, but everything else has been pretty easy. Oh, additionally, we intended from day one to play as a group, so I guess we are going to suffer a few more deaths because we all want to play together Thanks again!
  2. Seriously, there would be three to four mobs imperials, we would hit them and we'd get an additional immediate spawn of 4 to 6 more that just appear with 2 to 3 of them being Sith Elites with purple, double bladed lightsabers.
  3. Well, I'm wondering if the mission ramps up the number of mobs with a group. I mean we have made it through everything else piece of cake to this point and then all of a sudden WHAM! we would walk up to a group of 3 mobs, and 6 more spawn as soon as 1 is hit and just overwhelm us.
  4. I don't know if we are doing something wrong, but I was a level 35 Jedi Guardian grouping with a 35 Smuggler and 35 Jedi Consular healer and my companion Kira. The mission leading up to Angrals ship and Angrals ship killed us at least 10 or 15 times. We would try to control the spawns, the smuggler rooting a mob and locking up a droid and the Consular would float one, but we still couldn't keep up with the number of additional spawns. We all have orange gear with the latest mods, enhancements etc., but we were just getting clobbered. We were also dragging the mobs back to the republic soldiers and having better luck on the mission prior to Angrals ship, but from the ease of the missions on Alderran we felt like it was two of us trying to do an Heroic 4. Anyone know what's going on? And can we expect the same thing as we go to complete our Smugglers and Consulars Class quests? Thanks for any insight/
  5. Hoping someone else might know, so bumping
  6. Yea, that's what I tend to do, I dismount by summoning, but occasionally a baddie sneaks up on you, or in the excitement I'll occasionally forget to dismount, or I'll just dismount and forget to summon. But I'd really like to figure out what the real deal is and have it either be a feature or not lol!
  7. Why doesn't my companion always reappear when I enter combat from my speeder. Sometimes yes, most of the time no. I can't seem to identify the logic of what makes my companion reappear. I always get on the speeder with my companion summoned, and I'll reach a point of combat and attack from the speeder and sometimes they appear and sometimes they don't. Also, if I get attacked on my speeder they sometimes appear and sometimes don't. Anyone know what's up with this or is it just a bug? Thanks
  8. Ok, here's a question. I have an orange pair pants that I haven't put on because the blue pair I'm wearing has better stats. Armor, strength, endurance etc. should I be wearing the orange? I don't have better mods or enhancements than are already in them. However the mods in this pair are better than some mods I have in other gear I'm wearing. So I'm kind of confused as to why the orange pair I got (can't log in at the moment for exact stats) on Taris aren't as good as the blue with no mods. It's heavy armor with most of the power up in endurance, strength and crit. Definitely something a tank like me would want, but why don't the numbers beat the blue, and with the right mods will they?

  10. Try setting the keymap software to run as administrator. Right click the program, select properties and select run as administrator. I believe I've seen this mentioned before and that was the solution.
  11. OK, cool...I'm starting to get this...I finally found the keymapping functions that had eluded me previously. I discovered that you can do a form of page up and down through all your quickslot bars as well. so whatever you have in the lower center bar or right and left bars can become your quickslots and work off your primary number keys...if you want them to. However, I'm seeing the logic in assigning specific abilities to specific keys for ease of use and not having to hit additional keys to swap the quickbar. I've probably been using strike way too much in place of sundering strike. I had my first 3 quick keys set to 1(force leap) 2 (force sweep) 3 (strike), that is now 3 (sundering strike) with Master Strike and others following according to need. Thanks for the pointers guys!
  12. Well, what I meant, was what powers/abilities should I have in the quick bar and in what order of use? Also, I'm aware of the additional bars that you can bring up below the main quick bar and on the sides of the interface, but what about being able to switch between additional quick bars that become active to the same number keys? In other words, I hit 1 through = to activate my primary abilities, then I can hit something like shift + up arrow and get a second set that work off the same 1 through =? If not, how do you map keys to the additional slots that you can bring up in the interface?
  13. Hi all, new to the tank thing and hoping to find suggestions at level 18 for a load out. We generally play as a group of 3, myself, a consular healer and a smuggler scoundrel with whichever companion seems best for our current mission. Can you guys suggest the best load out in order of use on the main task bar at this level? We are mainly playing PVE at this time and don't have immediate plans for PVP yet. Also, is there a way to flip through task bars or are we limited to the single row of 1 through = as the only ones or can we have additional pages of bound skills? Thanks!
