If I was going to suggest any upgrade to that laptop, my first suggestion would be either replacement of the Memory with 16GB instead of just 8GB.
I personally like to go to http://www.crucial.com and use their System Scanner tool. It will scan your laptop/pc/whatever and show you what you have in the computer and also will show you compatible memory that will work on your computer. Also it shows how many memory slots it has ( needed info if you wanted to upgrade or replace with a faster memory. Just make sure, if you buy faster memory, either match it with the original memory speeds exactly or better yet just replace all the old memory with newer, larger size and faster memory. Most premade computers don't have the fastest memory that the motherboard can take. Infact in order to cut cost, most don't even tell you the speed of the memory because they use a low speed/cheaper memory. Today, if the PC isn't bragging about the selling point of the speed in a item, then its something it wants to hide from you.
