  1. You all guys keep saying that ... I just think what if it is some space for future addons?
  2. And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Operative dream. I have a dream that one day this class will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that skill trees must be swapped." I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Corellia, the snipers and operatives will be able to sit down together at the table of skill changes. I have a dream that one day even the Lethality tree, tree of poison and misdirection, will be given to Snipers, and Engineering tree will be given to Operatives. I have a dream that my explosive probe will one day launches from stealth and do not draw aggro from mob. I have a dream today! I have a dream that one day, down in Bioware, with its vicious class designers having his lips dripping with the words of 'class balance' and 'shared trees' - one day right there in Bioware all Operatives and Snipers will be able to join hands and share ENGINEERING tree with each other as sisters and brothers, as true Imperial Agents. tl;dr it is supposed that OPs will use advanced gadgets and where are they? Seriously, Lethality tree is more Sniper thing and Engineering tree is more OP thing. Give us interrogation probe!
  3. Remember old good Lineage II? There is some interesting mechanic - a sub-classes. Maybe it's not harm to think about something alike? Say I have a 50 lvl char, and I run through a some quest-chain, and get access to second AC that will be lvl 25 or such... With abiility to switch back maybe... how about that?
  4. - This is lightsaber. I can defeat 4 people in a time with it and it takes me around 10 years to master it. - And this is portable Heavy Assault Cannon MX-10. I can take out 150 people with it in a ten seconds flat and it takes me around 2 days to master it. Sorry for off-topic. Just remembered that. BTW I dont like dual-wielding - in both KotORs and Jedi Academy I choose light-staff.
  5. I think as a Padawan Nadia should be trained. We should have an options to change her ways of training and make her a Sage (for us Shadows extra heals would be very useful, i running with a Cedrax and get used to his heals) or Shadow (for these Sage guys). And she can have a different stances in every class: Damage or Healing as a Sage and Tank or DPS as a Shadow. I mean... Nadia supposed to be an "end-game" companion (plus romance-able, aww sweet Bioware). When I see her Force abilities for the first time and theres been said that she must take a Jedi training I think "Wow great idea, having an your own padawan like a real Jedi Master". But after then... there was silence... and SURPRISE! Nadia is here, full-trained and with double lightsaber! It shouldn't be that way i think. tl;dr Nadia story should be rewamped, there can be a quest chain or something, and we should have an options to change her AC.
  6. That is different playstyles. I run a Shadow and now is level 42, and re-spec 4 or 5 times, so I have an experience in both trees. In PvE its just simple: you got a fine AoE and some survivability (and if you use Combat Technique you got an additional AoE and defence); or you got a huge one-target DPS and fellow Cedrax with pockets full of kolto as your shadow In PvP Infiltrarion spec is best for certain (though it obviously was made as a pvp spec). It gives you reduction of important pvp skills' cooldowns, like Mind Snap and battle invis (forgot exact name, sorry). Balance can be used in pvp but it requires some skill: you had to remember press Force Potency on CD and watch for instant Mind Crush proc. But i think a skill is most important after all.
  7. I doesn't like the look of Project and Throw, but can accept it (there was at least one Jedi Master that throws debris onto enemy after all, in one of these pretty trailers). Maybe some sort of Force push... but it isnt really important. There is one thing that gives me a sick - a Kinetic Ward skill. Yeah that asteroid belt looks cool... for a shaman in you-know-where. A Jedi running around surrounded by stones looks ridiculous. It must be dealt with. PS. There is a GLOBAL problem that goes from KOTOR - lightsabers, which meant to CUT people in half with ONE strike, became a light-sticks that makes a funny humming and sparks. The devs should focus on that - there is some ideas... but thats an off-topic.
  8. Oh I think that was a bluepost. What a disappointment.
