I just rolled a Sorcerer. I have never played this type of class in any mmo that I have played before. I have always played a tank or melee dps. I decided to give this game another chance and also wanted to try something different. Let alone I always play the good guys (depending on how you look at it). I plan on playing pve/pvp and just want to be pure dps. What advice or is there anything that I should know with this class that will help me out? Thanks in advance. P.S. I am interested in joining a guild if anyone is looking for new members.

Actually I plan on playing again. Now that it is free to play I mind as well give it a shot in my free time. I originally played republic and I was a member of "The Champions of the Force" until they all left. Now I think it would be fun to try out the other side... Well now that I am coming back what changes should I know about and how is that game currently? I would have to start all over and want to be on a populated server. As far as classes I am always looking for a good damage dealer who does well solo, pve, and especially pvp! I am not sure how the classes are at this moment... Also if any guilds are recruiting I would love to join!

Ok sentinel is out the window. Sage looks like it could ok too, but I would be going away from my melee aspect. In terms of just dps/pvp how do they compare? I do not want to be a healer.

Which is easier to level up an what is more useful endgame?

I have always been an in your face type of player. I have a lvl 35 trooper, but I am thinking it isn't for me. I really want to focus on both pve/pvp as I get to 50. I do not have a ton of time to run multiple characters. Out of those two which would be better off in the long run? Also who has better dps and survivability?
