  1. I'm sure this devolved into a cryfest between people who are bad at math and people who have too much free time, but the initial post is absolutely right. If Bioware wants people to continue playing their game, they need to get better at fixing balance issues.
  2. It's also doing less damage than back blast at endgame.
  3. Seriously, a 3 second cast, followed by 3 seconds of roleplaying nonsense before the pain actually drops. It's nearly unusable, as tanks have usually moved before it lands, or if there's no tank, the mobs have killed you. In pvp, your opponents can totally capture the target before you can get this attack off (assuming multiple door grabbers). It's a fun skill and I like it, but it misses more often than it hits. Can we cut it down to an actual 3 second activation? Either instant cast that lands after 3 seconds or 3 second cast that lands as soon as it's done? Or some mix thereof? It literally takes 6 seconds from the time I start casting to the time the strike hits and it's just not acceptable.
  4. Despite the whining to the contrary, yeah, scrappers actually have very high sustainable single-target DPS. Our AoE DPS is a bit sad, but that's not your job. Your job is to kill that boss before it enrages. The key to sustainable DPS is to keep your buffs/debuffs up and your big attacks (backblast, pistol whip, suckerpunch) on CD.In a normal boss fight, I only end up using flurry and thermal grenade after a knockback, and sometimes fill in with a quick shot after triggering pugnacity. Otherwise, you have nearly unlimited energy if you're careful, you've got 2 bleeds running (flechette and vital shot), you've got 30% extra armor pen, and you push out back to back high-damage attacks. It's not a face-rolling class, but if you're good at your rotation and good at your resource management, a scrapper is an excellent PVE build.
