  1. you know this is something I was truly disapointed about, during the Beta (not the weekend one the full time) I remember seeing three things I miss, #1 you could trade up comms from the previous planet for the ones on your new one (of course it was like 2 for 1 ratio but still) #2 you could trade comms with other players, #3 there was ALOT more options for armor for sale in the cities vendors.
  2. agree, I've currently only have like 3,400 cartel coins but I don't really mind waiting a few months, god I need that armor. We need an Orange set of armor that properly fits a sith. I was seriously bummed that almost all the armor for a Sith Juggernaut look robotic, and the ones that don't are either not modifiable, or are in the wrong colors, like grey or purple, Or don't have hoods.
  3. I support this 100% of the way, the only reason I want to change my race is because I have Columi Juggernaut armor, Just saying that armor is meant for the brutish body type not the normal one. I was disapointed where the only thing you could really get close to this was the paragon vindicators and even that was a failure because even if you got all the pieces none of the colors matched and if you used link colors to chestplate for some dang reason the pants turned black and red. They really need to add this set in game it's one of the main reasons I pre-ordered SWTOR.
  4. you see this is the problem I have with many members of the community, I'm an RPer it's not that I'm lazy but I have a really cool name for my current Sith Warrior, he is already lvl 50 and has full set of Columi there is absolutely NO WAY I'm going to delete him and remake him, my simple explonation for it not being Lore based is this "why do you care? honestly why do you care? if you don't like it don't use it it's that simple don't screw the rest of the community because you don't care for the idea." I would personally prefer recustomization simply because I now hate what my character looks like, if I change him to a Sith Pureblood, I'm just going to RP as if my old character never existed plain and simple DO NOT RUIN THIS FOR THE REST OF THE COMMUNITY JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT GOING TO USE IT! seriously get over it.
  5. hmmm... interesting topic, if I were to choose races they should implement in-game I would not choose any from SWG that haven't been implemented simply because if I wanted to play as I wookiee I'd just logg off SWTOR and go play PSWG or SWGEMU. Droids seem impractical for me simply because they shouldn't romance and the fact that I don't really see a droid being able to wear armor since they are already made of metal, not to mention the fact that droids can't be force sensative, and if they added it as a legacy unlock we'd likely see a bunch of droid jedi/sith. Wookiee seems impractical as someone already mentioned if you were to account for the strength and size of a wookiee in the stats it would basically shatter the balance of the game. here's a list of species I'd like to see implemented. Voss Nautolen Kel-Dor Cathar Bith Kaleesh Duros Aqualish Deveronian Selkath (would be cool) Togruta etc On the companions side of this conversation I felt like there was a lack of force sensative companions, on Kotor and Kotor II, I could turn several of my companions into force sensatives. This seems well strange for a Sith to have multiple apprentices but in fact they don't have to be apprentices rather than Sith Lords loyal to your cause as you see with Baras and his minions, and Angral and all of those Sith Lords who follow him, I would love to see Lord Rathari as a companion character now that would be awesome, if you spared him you gain his respect and he becomes a valuable ally so I believe that would be interesting to see. I would also like to see a Voss Mystic as a companion for the Sith Warrior, that would be interesting and he/she would be an invaluable asset to the team. As much as I love Jaesa her lack of ... skill taunts me, I'm a Juggernaut so I prefer to have a healer henchmen but I love having a sith following me into battle and honestly Quinn annoys the crap out of me. On the Jedi however I would like to see multiple apprentices seeing as during this time period Jedi had many apprentices, it wasn't until the Ruusan Reformations that the Jedi could only have One apprentice.
  6. Dude.... next time search for like 5 minutes I literally just posted this at like an hour before you, seriously there is no need for two of these threads in about an hour. What the heck?
  7. from what I've heard Disney's new star wars films will be using those sequel series scripts though I'm not sure if that's true I just heard it.
  8. I don't know man, Darth Dementis can be ..... very persuasive...
  9. I'd rather see further devolopment on The Great Sith War, always was more of an Exar Kun/Ulic Qel-Droma fan rather than Revan, hated how it wouldn't let me take Qel-Droma as a legacy name... well at least I got Sunrider
  10. I'm not sure if anyone else feels this way, though I know I do. Over the time I've played my characters (specifically my Sith Warrior) I made him a bit... unrealistic, as a sith you are scarred from battles past and you just have to have that wicked look of awesomeness within you, do you not agree? Well I made my character like my others, standard body size, and looking like an average human, Now I think it would be far more fitting, especially with his columi armor to remake him as a brutish Sith Pureblood, as he is a juggernaut it only seems fitting... I believe there should be some kind of option in the cartel market to re-create your character's appearance. Does anybody else agree?
  11. Actually you are wrong though many did not marry they still had lovers here are a few examples of both: Nomi Sunrider had both Ulic Qel-Droma and Andur Sunrider as lovers, Qui Gon Jin had Tahl as a lover, Quinlan Vos and Khaleen Hentz, Nejaa Halcyon and Scerra Halcyon, Etain Tur-Mukan and Clone commando Darman Skirata, Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Siri Tachi, Tholme and T'ra Saa, Mak Lotor and Kass Tod, and let's not forget the most famous of the bunch Revan and Bastila Shan.
  12. there are a few referances to a trime travel force power known as flow walking in the legacy of the jedi series however I don't think it's complete timetravel just like sending your mind back in time, Jacen Solo likes to visit the past of anakin skywalker during the clone wars because both have similar troubles, and in the book Crosscurrent a Sith Warship from the great-hyperspace war gets sent into the future during The New Jedi Order era it sparks a huge conflitct and overall is a good book IMO.
  13. Dislikes my main problem with this game which has made me rage quit for a month or two twice now is that the main questlines are awesome, however after you finish a main quest you should lvl up 2-3 lvls just to be the recommended lvl, besides that it is extremely painful for me to gain the lvls with sidequests/PVP/space missions, heroics and flashpoints are out of the question now that most players on my server have quit, gameplay is more WoWish never liked WoW much, lack of custimazation after you create your character, PVP is lacking, space combat is lacking, Two guilds cannot have a war because the Republic and Imperial players cannot interact, no appearance tab, and for me the leveling process is just terrible, I still have not reached lvl 50 on a toon because I have rage quit twice, however I keep comming back because of my determination that is crushed after 3 hours of gameplay cuz once again I relize how painful it is to lvl up, just like WoW you can have the greatest armor in the game but none of it matches, RP for me has been lacking since unlike SWG you don't have player cities/chronicles system. I would not know since I havn't reached the max lvl but it seems to me that this game lacks ALOT of endgame content. there is no variaty for ships your just stuck with one, you can not customize ships, you are not able to get a house. The majority of side quests are stale and boring. Servers are dying and need to be merged. Likes This is my list of likes, Main story lines are awesome, graphics are alright, scenery is amazing, Armor and weapons are awesome, companion characters are cool and a nice addition. Chat options/full voice over is awesome, some animations are really cool while others can be lacking, Titles are cool, Nice job on the sith and jedi philosophy for a huge star wars nerd like me it is hard to please but BW did a great job with them however some sith remind me more of fools who belive you can draw power from artifacts and that they lack patience/cunning/secrecy/deception/ and manipulation and are not true masters of the dark side in my opinion. Crafting is alright I was never a really big crafter anyways in MMOs I think it is ballanced well. There are some fun skills to use like a SW SJ using force push and then slicing them when their down I always liked that combo. I prefer to paly as a tank and they made the Tank's abilities fairly well.
  14. I am Darth Dementis and I support this message.
  15. I completely agree, I still prefer SWG over SWTOR however I am just playing this now because SWG is gone, SWGEMU just doesn't work for me I played from 2003 to 2011 on swg and I know that I will get alot of crud for this but I actually prefered the NGE.
