  1. What a crock of crap. Your first mistake was buffing BM gear and then making champion and centurion gear practically worthless. I hit 50 two weeks ago and getting gear si not only painfully slow but the WZ's are now so frustrating I've begun to stop playing altogether. The gear imbalance was sped up and now the opposing factions (repubs on The Bastion) are unstoppable and the gear gap is getting a lot worse. We don't even stand a chance at making games close. Thanks to the new speed medals gaves are ending in record speed. The only thing that's going to keep this game from tanking in PvP is the intorduction of cross-realm PvP which should be done post-haste. Even if you do increase the rewards slightly, the damage has already been done and the effects of these PvP design flaws will be felt for at least a year if not longer. By then, you'll have lost at least 66% or your PvP'ers
  2. Lack of reward for losing is a terrible idea that's based on the concept that winners should get the world and losers should get nothing. Who is going to want to get 0 commendations for getting 8 medals in a loss? While I agree with the principal that to the victors go the spoils, the gear gap is going to destroy the PvP player base. Add in the fact that they ONLY buffed BattleMaster gear when the patch released and unless you already have it, you're just cannon fodder who won't survive long enough to get a high number of medals (if any at all) and you're going to have not only a hard time catching up on gear but also with trying to enjoy the game. I'll be surprised if PvP survives this patch.
  3. I have 2 level 50's. I'm planning on playing the other classes to 40 for the buff. You can too. It's not an "unfair" advantage. You have to work for it if you want it.
  4. At least it's been looked at and fixed in the new patch. Sorry for wasting everyone's time!
  5. When your faction is defending first and half your team joins a queue with 30 seconds left you end up with 4 players getting locked out at the VERY START of the game due to the door at the start because you spend all 30 of those seconds flying to the start point. It makes it 4v8 and means the attackers get a free pass at a door. I'd also be cool with keeping the door down for the first 30 seconds. It's really annoying in PvP to log into a losing match or to end up behind a locked door for the full 30 second duration even though you clicked accept and had half a minute to join still.
  6. I don't know what the valor gain is per warzone win after level 50 but I'm getting 3K+ at level 24. So, for me to hit valor level 60 from 59 would take 16 wins. That's not bad at all. It would probably takke the average player 2 weeks at best to get there. L2Math before posting crap. That said, valor is SO easy to gain. There are several websites that break down how to gain medals and FAST . Each medal is 500 valor up to 4 mdeals. Also, if you do really well, your team can vote you to be an mvp. 1 vote = 50 valor. You can get 7 total for an additional 350 valor if your REALLY good. Look it up. Seeing as how EA has nothing better to do than giv eme an infraction for calling the OP a ***** in my original post, let me edit my post to say that the OP is still a *****.
  7. Xav, The game has been out for less than 2 months. I think you should give BW a break. There is little interest in the PTR because a lot of players are still leveling their toons. I have one level 50 and it took me a month to get there. Now I'm workng on my second one. No one's bored enough yet to want to check out the next big thing early. Over the next year I expect the PTR to blow up. Until then, give the CURRENT game a try before you mouth off about what's coming down the pipe or the method in which they bring it to us.
  8. You know, even though you don't like the truth, you don't have to post your garbage here. I have a buddy who's leveling a sniper (currently level 49) like it's no one's business. And he uses Kaliyo / SCORPIO. His name is Deveroe on "The Bastion". The only people being "coddled" are the players you're making excuses for when they fail at their class. Hopefully, I'm not discouraging the rest of you by saying/ implying you suck at your class. When I first started playing WoW, a friend of mine told me how bad I sucked at playing a hunter. He said that he would still run with me because we're friends but if I didn't "L2P" no one else would want to. I hated hearing it but it made me a better player. Keep at it. Just don't start crying about imbalances until you've made it all the way to 50 and have gone through some end game content (both PvE and PvP).
  9. Wow. Really? You think Sniper's the only class that has to deal with harder mobs? The NPC's get harder to kill for everyone. It's part of the basic MMO leveling experience. It's a great learning experience for playing your class. I'd deal with it. Now, here's the thing you all seem to fail to realize. BW gave us all different companions for the different specs. So, for tanks ( I would assume) you would generally use either a dps companion or a healing companion. Healers, would use a dps or tank companion and DPS would use either a tank or DPS companion. Also, a lot of why your companions are underperforming is on you guys. YOU control the companion, it doesn't just run around doing things of it's own cognizance. That said, own up to the fact that you don't know how to play by admitting you're using the wrong companion, that you don't know how to gear / use them, or both. You'll be much happier when you do. Also, Kaliyo = SCORPIO = AWESOME!!!! I have a hard time choosing between them because they both rock. Yes, I'm an Op Medic.
