  1. I honestly think it's needed at this point. I've seen/heard countless people talk about their Sith looking like Zoidberg, or their Humans looking stupid with hoods on... I personally know the feeling, and would like to switch from Zabrak to Human. Voices are class, not race based so it could be a legitimate switch that wouldn't affect story. I wouldn't mind throwing a moneywad at Bioware for THAT option.
  2. Hey I reported it already.. you know how customer service rolls out the red carpet in this game. =/
  3. So I'm a 48 Sith Juggy Tank, and just hit 400 Synth yesterday, however I want to know the community's opinion on if I should have gone Cybertech for tanking. I find most of the time, the synth gear I wear is ok, then always replaced by an orange piece of gear with mods that are = or > than my gear. I don't really like the armorsets of synth visually either. I also <3 the space combat and upgrading my ship with new toys to kill faster with. I guess what's being asked here is should I stick it out with Synthweaving in hopes that it'll get better in the future? Or should I join Cybertech and get the instant reward + the stuff that I like?
  4. I also think that the level 40 Immortal ability (forget the name) should just do 8% of the target's current health(damage caps somewhere for Elites/Champions) when the target has 5 stacks of sundered. It can keep the CD, and that would certainly help DPS/Threat. PVP shouldn't have too much effect because of the decent CD, and requirement to set up.
  5. She is definitely the best. 7k affection and rising steadily. She'll tear through regular mobs while I tank a strong. However, Quinn is still necessary for Elite mobs. I kinda wish she was an inquisitor though. New healer + AoE DPS? YES PL0X!
  6. The game does not start at level 50. The class is balanced at 50, barely, and it won't be fun to have to grind up to 40 just to be able to survive fighting a mob with a random patrol add.
  7. Now.. I'm a Juggy. And while I admit that we do have problems, they aren't as frustrating as you're making it seem here. 1. Abilities- You get a TON of abilities yes, but at some point you use them all. Do you use the additional quickbars from the options menu? I do, and I have all the abilities that I use, and all buffs, mounts slotted. 2. AOE Threat- Yes. We're lacking. Period. HOWEVER! Playing intelligently can offset our weakness until we get buffed. Saber Throw at a melee mob, Force Charge at the ranged mob, AOE Taunt everything. If you see a monster running at a teammate, taunt! Taunt on CD? Use CC until it's off CD. Rinse repeat, and you'll manage. 3. Rage Generation- Saber Throw + Force Charge is half your pool just to start the fight, immediately as you join the fight, you should be spamming sundering assault and assault. That's an extra 2-3 right there, smash should cost 1 but worst case scenario 3 and force scream (use that whenever it's off CD on the mob you aren't attacking at) and spam sundering assault and assault for 3 rage. And if all else fails, use enrage. 4. Sundering Assault- This kinda goes with 3... Just spam it, yeah it's decent CD, but what do you have to spend rage on anyways? The highest cost I have is 4, and that's only when I'm single target tanking and can afford some extra DPS. 5. Threat (against geared DPS)- Yes you're outclassed threat wise because they deal MASSIVE amounts of damage quickly. Well, CC those mob's if you can't taunt, and more importantly, judge whether it's worth it to bother, what if a Merc steals hate on a normal mob or even a strong mob? They can kill it themselves! If their health gets pounded help sure, other than that focus on the elite mob in front of you, focus on the mob running off to your healer, that's the important stuff. 6. Threat (compared to other classes)- Yes. Compared to the other classes we suck. But we shine in other ways. Single target, we're the best, IDGAF what your skill as a tank is, Juggy is boss when single target tanking. If you don't want to put in the effort to Juggy tank well, just shelf him until they get a buff. 7. CC'd Rage Generation- It's not counterproductive to CC a mob! You should be hitting them! That generates rage and threat! Win-Win! 8. Rage Generation(Defense)- It's damage avoidance! Don't pull some Warrior Rage Priest Bubble stuff. You have PLENTY of ways to gain rage if you aren't being attacked. Not to mention you DEFINITELY don't have enough Defense chance to avoid attacks that often. Tip: If you aren't being attacked, the mob mustn't be near you, so Saber Throw and Force Charge. 9. Sweeping Charge- It's an meh ability at best to me, I use it when I when I notice mobs nearby each other. If they aren't already, then use smash or just single target and tab target. I'm not the greatest Juggy ever, I'm just a normal guy, so you don't need years of raid tanking practice to do what I do. Just a bit of effort, like I said before if you don't want to put in that much effort, roll a BH/SIN and shelf your Juggy until they get buffed.
  8. as a juggy who just hit 44 5 min ago, i will say that the class is fun, but atm HEAVILY gear dependent... the gear can make the difference between an OP tanking machine and a wet piece of toilet paper. It is fun if you can keep geared, but in that lies a problem. To get better gear at higher levels, you'll have to run FP's.. which u can't tank efficiently because you don't have good enough gear. (I recommend running dungeons with 1 juggy, 1 powertech, 1 heal and 1 dps.) Personally, I don't bother with the struggle, I synthweave, and only run FP's when I outlevel them slightly. But all in all at the moment it has it's bugs and problems here and there but if you want to play the class, you'll enjoy it regardless of the current hole we're in. PS: Your healing companion makes the entire game possible to complete... without him, you'll be screwed. Until about the 40's or so, when you only need him for elite mobs. PS2: The story, will make you feel... SO ******. (If you're evil that is. I can't speak for light side.)
  9. Keep in mind that we're talking about PvE, not PvP. Smh. You're just... stupid.
