  1. Any word on what Disney plans for Lucasarts? Personally I'm kind of hoping they let Warren Spector. Have a go at a Star Wars rpg ,or an Indiana Jones game.
  2. As in relation to the Comparisons? If so Thanks for the heads up.
  3. At what point did I mention either greed or his motivation? I clearly said he should be Content and Grateful: grateful Look up grateful at Dictionary.com 1550s, "pleasing to the mind," also "full of gratitude," from obsolete adj. grate "agreeable, thankful," from L. gratus "pleasing" (see grace). "A most unusual formation" [Weekley]. Hard to think of another case where English uses -ful to make an adjective from an adjective. Related: Gratefully; gratefulness. Evil? Where are you coming from with this? Just because some one else said this? At no point did I say anything. That would allow you to relate that as a response to mine. Further more there is no reason to believe Lucas isn't currently motivated by Greed or Success. Which ever you choose to call it. Or We wouldn't still have everything from the merchandise to 3d re-releases. And just to clarify to your interpretation based off of one axis. That isn't a moral Judgement. As reiterate I clearly said I didn't have a problem, And once again I'll say : "He should be more content and grateful." Look what happened to Robert E. Howard. Now that man had something to whine about. How does fans are complaining about my revisions or my prequel trilogies wah wah - compare to that?
  4. Personally for me it's not. Theoretically he should be more content, and grateful because of it. Did people like Joseph Campbell, Akira Kurosawa, Robert E. Howard, and Edgar Rice Burroughs. See the same level of success?
  5. "Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one." - Friedrich Nietzsche We don't really grasp or know what Revan experienced during his time under the Emperor's imprisonment. Or where Bioware is going with this. So it makes sense he would be Mad to a degree. The thing about Revan is he tows the line. Walks between two worlds so to speak. He has the potential to be more interesting then Lucas's redeemed Vader. Not because he overcame the darkness, but because he had embraced it. Similar to a Siberian Shaman. Revan should have become a fully integrated being. Like a light bearer who found Illumination in the darkest cave. He needs to be both heroic and dangerous... OT: Love his Armor. I would wear something like that in real life. Plus his face has to be scarred. The Emperor almost melted his mask onto his face didn't he?
  6. So what the writing of this Flashpoint was heavily reliant on the faction (Republic vs Empire) gameplay mechanic? Is there any revelation as to why He's choosing to use Droids? Is it out of fear that if he could be used and influenced by the Emperor, that other can be as well? Is there any explanation as to why scourge didn't at least attempt to communicate with Revan about his vision of the Jedi? [ OT: Why aren't more people Comparing The Empire and Revan's behavior to things like the Romans, etc. Has every one Forgot about Julius Caesar and Gaul, etc.? As opposed to just Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers Party. Rome was a major influence on Hitler after all. ]
  7. “If you are pissing people off, you know you are doing something right”― John Lydon Mr. Lucas needs to suck it up and quit acting like a child. Who desperately needs attention. Or something akin to it. It's starting to seem like Vader's youth was personal therapy. For public consumption. Making money off us should have been enough. He needs to come to two conclusions. One you can't please every one all the time. Second that maybe he should be critical of himself ,and take some of what the fans are saying into consideration. Instead of finding new ways to re-release the movies over, and over again. Hire talented people to work on a new series before his Vision took place. He continues to make money, Doesn't have to do it himself, and possibly pleases some fans.
  8. Personally part of it is vanity. Sith armor looks better to me. I want body paint like a Brahman. Or some sacred tattoos for my Jedi. Maybe something primal looking for a Jedi Consular to wear. Then from my experience. People playing on the Empire side(harbinger sever) seem more friendly, talkative, and helpful. For a while I was uncomfortable with some of the dark side choices. Yet it's just a game so I got over it. I'll eventually make Jedi alts though.
  9. Check your e-mail. In game that is.
