You know I understand you ppl wanting to build community. There is more than one way to do it. You while I'm in my LFG tool, I can be down on whatever planet building a relationship there with others around my same lvl. Hell, i may even make a friend while I'm ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME and find out he want to do the flash point of heroics too.

Well that's a bust. Went in and tried /who and i found no one near my lvl looking to do anything I would want. I'll try again tonight.

No, ppl are forced to stand around in a space with nothing to do while they hope and prey for a healer or tank to become available. Last night during what was a pretty high pop time, Istood around for 20 min waiting for a healer to do Foundry. Then i went and did two space missions and dropped down to the planet to try and get a little questing done while the team leader had to sit up there with his hand out. I don't know what the other guy on the team did. If you're not going to give us a LFG tool, then you need to at least put in a globalLFG channel and subscribe everyone to it. Mayb even set it so that if you put yourself in LFG mode it automatically turns on. You guys see what goes on on general chat, stop with this community nonsense. A constant stream of political talk and LFG requests is not a community. It's bad enough ppl don't rp on the rp servers edit: Just read a few more and I'm going to try seaarching for lfg.

Nothing wrong with the questions I asked unless you assume I'm trolling or some entitled douche bag out of the box. Sorry I didn't put the appropriate smiley to set my tone. They were plain honest questions that didn't deserve the response. But whatever. I'm a big boy. I should be surprised or disappointed by the childish responses I get. Well actually I will continue to be disappointed, as I am with a lot of things in the world. But shame on me for being surprised.

By providing free authenticators to everyone. He's right. If they are in such fear of this happening, it kinda should be their responsibility. My WoW acct has been hack a couple of times but only after I stopped using it and let it sit idle for years. All my other games seem to be fine, but I'd be sad otherwise. Guess I will go pick an authenticator up, now that the internets is scaring me.

Wow. I've been curious about this for a long time and was really afraid to ask because of exactly what happened. Thanks again to the intelligent answers. I asked an honest question. I wasn't trolling or bragging about my computer. I'm not a cheapskate or too broke to buy an authenticator. I just wanted to know why if there are apps and I have one on my computer for another purpose why I would need to buy or get another device. I got my answer and everything else I need to know about the community here. I remember why I never hang out in this forums.

Thank you, Another Road. I was fuzzy on this. I guess I just assumed that because I have to use an authenticator to log into my office network from home that it was a similar concept. Excuse my ignorance.

Why should I have to buy one or have a snazzy phone? I have a computer worth well over a thousand dollars. Why can't I do it with that?
