    Hi folks,

     

    Well I have 2 PCs with GTX 580s.

     

    I used the tweaks on one of the PCs that were posted on these forums for the graphics AA x4, Texture filtering HQ and Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX9) to -3000.

     

    It worked lovely lots of reflections etc.

     

    Now on my second PC the same card different manufacturer, in Nvidia Inspector there is no option to change..

     

    Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX9) to -3000

     

    Is there any reason why the second card wouldn't have this option?

     

    Drivers are all up to date. The only difference between the machines is one is Intel, the other is AMD.

    The space part of SWTOR I was really disappointed in.

     

    At the moment its a mini game that's well pointless? boring?

     

    It doesn't fit well in to an MMO world.

     

    The space part of the game should be an MMO also with its own economy, PVP, raids, exploration. So much more that they could do with it and I hope they do.

     

    The space part of the game was one of the reasons I was watching this game for like 4-5 years. I was hugely disappointed with that part of the game. Seemed like a lazy way out.

     

    Hopefully they do something more immersive with space because at the moment it feels like space invaders for 10 year olds.

    I have noticed that 'Cloud Mind (Basically a threat reducer skill)' doesn't seem to work.

     

    Has anyone else noticed this not working?

     

    Maybe that is why no mods are allowed yet as some of these skills don't really work that well yet?

     

    Anyone else notice any other skills not working, like Taunt or some other skill?

    I will sum this up in 2 quick and accurate ways:

     

     

    1: Space is a vacuum. There cannot be explosions in space, as there is not oxygen in space, which fire requires. The movie Armageddon also got this wrong with their nuclear bomb detonation.

     

     

     

     

     

    2: When you complete a space mission, you go into lightspeed. Now, the issue -- while in lightspeed, you can shoot missiles. The missiles travel ahead of you. Therefor, the missiles are traveling faster than you in lightspeed, and in turn, faster than the speed of light. This is impossible.

     

    Well it maybe possible to go faster than the speed of light breaking all previously known physics.

     

    The Higgs, google it :p

    Hope they sticky this to make it easier!

     

     

    • Make the space part of the game a lot more immersive
    • Space exploration
    • Space PVP
    • Space economy
    • Space operations
    • Make the space part of the game a whole MMO to be part of the game
    • Attack player inhabited planets and take them over

     

     

    Add any/if any you think are worthy of the list.

     

    Personally I was hoping the space part of the game would have been bigger or atleast as big as the ground game. It has massive potential!
