  1. Guess I can't express my opinion on here. Sorry that you are all deceived. I will be on the other side when you finally see the light.
  2. 13 more days and I will be uninstalling the game Had high hopes for this game, but overall satisfaction from beginning to end is not where an MMO should be now days. It's quite funny when I first started playing I was really excited and hyped to play. But diminishing returns set it very quick towards level cap (haven't made it to 50 yet, still 48). This is the first MMO I've played where It didn't take over my life. I guess I should be thankful. On the other hand, I think it also shows that this game is not a good quality MMO. You couldn't get me off Everquest, WoW, and FFXI when I started to play them and for along time. In fact I was in a position where I "had" to cancel (against my will) because it was taking over all my time. This game on the other hand. I really have no problem hitting the cancel subscription button.
  3. I hear you. In my PvP match on the Voidstar let me setup a situation that happened that gave me great pleasure. Friendly was planting explosive on the door about half way done. I saw 2 sith drop down and start moving towards him both casters. I had the plan worked out in my head: I was going to force stun 1 and quickly interupt cast on the other followed by a knock down. I executed all 3 abilities exactly when I hit the buttons and prevented them from interupting the bomb planter. It was very exciting to see my plans coming to fruition. In a previous version this would have never been possible with the ability delay.
  4. I think this is a class-to-class change. It would be important for everyone who is experiencing stuttering with a particular to bring it up so that BioWare knows what abilities are still experiencing problems. The ability delay and character responsiveness has been dramatically improved; however, please don't confuse this with specific abilities that aren't mechanically working because they are glitchy.
  5. Well the biggest thing you will notice first is that (at least for me as a shadow) abilities fire when you click the button. I didn't run into one situation where an ability, given the right circumstances, didn't fire. I was spamming the keyboard not because i was trying to get abilities to fire, but because i wanted fast timing (which is the way it should be). It's not perfect yet that much is evident, but its a "significant" change. I would say that (especially in PvP) I feel like I have control of my avatar for the first time.
  6. I only had time for 1 PvP match and I have to say there is quite a big smile on my face. However, I did suffer from 2 unfortunate game discrepancies: Horrid PvP FPS, (about 15fps in wargrounds and 80-90 everywhere else) and the ability delay character responsiveness. Regardless, this is the first match where I hit a ability and it actually fired and quickly too. I think there is additional work that needs to be done. The mount still cancels if you try to move after the cast bar is complete which tells me that they are still have problems with the games global clock. Regardless, it actually made PvP fun for the first time. Whereas before it was 95% frustrating and 5% meh. Now it's 80% fun and 20% *** is my team doing!?!?!?
  7. So when the power company makes a mistake and starts to send your "bill" to the wrong address for several months do you think that you should not have to pay for the months you used energy? Welcome to the real world tike. This isn't kindergarden anymore. Part of being a big boy is understanding that individuals or companies are not the only ones who pay for their mistakes.

  9. You release a Video for: Upcoming "content" changes, UI customization, "new" PvP Battlegrounds, "new" PvE Flashpoints, and the "new" Legacy System, and then state specifically at the end, "We listen to community feedback," and "We rely on our community feedback for future changes." Here for the umphteength time I will yet again communicate to you BioWare what your community has previously stated numerous times regarding your game! 1. Fix Ability Delay and Character Responsiveness and 2. Fix FPS and Latency within Battlegrounds Get these two things Fixed! Especially before you start talking about new things! You addressed both of these issues on the forums in "stickies" and last we know you deleted the stickies and haven't responded ever since! If your listening to your community then why, for the love of all things good, do you want to implement new battlegrounds when It's not fun to play battlegrounds! Get these two issues fixed or your PvP will never be fun! In case you missed it the first time: 1. Fix Ability Delay and Character Responsiveness 2. Fix FPS and Latency within Battlegrounds On a side note BioWare, are you delusional concerning PvP? Do you think your players like PvP in it's current state? I'm getting sick and tired of hearing "We listen to our community." when it's obvious you don't!
  10. Fix the freaking FPS issues already! 8 average FPS in an 8on8 battleground = top priority 1 second Ability Delay and Character Response Time = top priority Oh wait... I guess fixing bugs with NEW CONTENT is more important than fixing OLD CONTENT!!!!!
  11. 100% Agreed.. EA is known for pushing half ***** games to launch. They don't care though. They just want their money back.
  12. Well it's a little hard to test level 50 pvp content when the testers are all running around as level 2's and 3's.
  13. Not to mention that our Jedi's wear blue and white dresses... Seriously where the hell is the incentive to be Republic?
  14. BioWare's thought Process... Shmoe: "Hey Bob! what's the current average amount of Level 50 Imps on each server?" Bob: "...About 752." Shmoe: "How about Republics?" Bob: "...12." Shmoe: "Ok, lets put in two 10,000 health turrets for each side. that should help balance out the factions." Bob: "Should killing the instant respawning turrets yield Valor?" Shmoe: "Ya sure i Mean its going to take people forever to kill two 10,000 health turrets anyways..." Bob: "We should really look into giving incentives to get more players to roll Republic." Shmoe: "What?!?! The Jedi's get to wear dresses already what more incentive does there need to be?"
  15. Well we know they will do something about it. BUT BIOWARE YOU BETTER NOT JUST MAKE DEFENSES INVULNERABLE!!! Otherwise Ilium will be a desolate place that no one will go to.
  16. Well I thought if I was going to create a post that I would follow it up with maybe my idea for improvement. But, even this will only partially fix the problem and in the process create all new ones. IDEA: Create a Que for Iliium... If there is only 20 Republics on Ilium then thee should only be 20 Imperials able to come in. Well this will cause Imps to rage because now they can't join Ilium when they want, but at least it will keep some balance on the planet. Maybe it will cause some Imps to switch factions. You need to at least start creating incentives for Republic players so that more Sith switch sides...
  17. I'm still in hysterics over the Ilium world PvP issue. You have to be abso-freakin-lutly kidding me. Players have been warning you since beta invites FIRST began to institute some type of faction balance on servers. You never listened... Instead you thought, "oh well it will eventually work itself out as time goes on." Now what exactly are you going to do? 15 Imps to each Repub. Your own implemented Defense system on Ilium can't withstand the imbalance. So people are caught in a neverending loop of death respawn death respawn. But I digress... What will be your solution to this? Probably some cockamimi implimentation that makes turrets invulnerable; just to put a band-aid on a heavy wound, or some other useless implementation that does nothing to remedy the problem. LOL I can't wait for BioWare to make the turrets or defenses even stronger that way the republic can just sit in a safe area while the massive amounts of Imps wait on the outside... Might as well delete Ilium. This world pvp content was a terrible idea without faction balance.
  18. Thanks for the Spoiler Alert smart guy.
  19. Great ideas. I also have noticed how trade skills don't payoff in the long run. You spend a great deal of money to level them up never reaching a point where you are making a profit (except for some gathering skills). Hopefully this will see a difference in the future. WoW also had a nice incentive system with trade skills. Not saying that BioWare should do something like this, but it was certainly original and gave reason for people to invest time and effort into leveling them.
  20. Need some more great and original suggestions. Let's see if we can get BioWare to implement some of our ideas!
  21. I really like the WAR Idea. I think if something like this was implemented into the game it would be a great reason to stick around. That is one of the primary symptoms that most MMORPGs suffer from: A stagnant world where things have no varying effect. That eventually gets old after awhile. One thing that I always appreciated about Rift was the varying effects Rift Invasions could have on the world around you. Not that I support Rift, but I think it's a step in the right direction. There's a natural desire for players to see a living, breathing world/universe around them.
  22. The unfortunate reality is that creating 8 different character stories is a very time consuming labor for BioWare. This type of content (although extremely enjoyable) has a negative "labor to play" value; in other words, it requires hundreds of hours to create dialog content and only minutes to play through that dialog content. I am absolutely astonished with all the dialog within the game already. I think if BioWare is going to implement new content for endgame players with a positive "labor to play" value (little time for BioWare to create and a limitless time to play through) they need to be creating things like PvP Arenas or PvE Arenas or things like this that will help hold over level capped players until they can implement more content. I think they will probably only extend the dialog content with upcoming expansions (adding new chapters to each class). At least I hope they save it for expansions.
  23. I'm not sure. I just noticed that myself. They probably remove old stickies to make room for new stickies. But I'm sure the post is somewhere in the forums...
