    Different coloring as far as I remember, I think Champion gear is more or less like Recruit gear.

    Gamebryo, allthough they also make claims to have made "heavy modifications". Still, Rift has been, and currently are, suffering from much the same issues that TOR does, ability lag etc.

    I rather enjoy PvP healing.. PvE, not so much. That said, it's often a thankless job and I think we as players are much to blame for the situation.

    Astroturfing, trolling and the "the glass is half empty" crowd... and a few legitimate concerns, pretty much sums it up.

    Afaik the lack of day/night cycles was a design choice, but it definitely snows on Hoth, sometimes on Alderaan and I've seen dust blow on Tatooine.. it even rains on Dromund Kaas.

    Perception, when you get stunned it lasts forever.. when you stun someone it never lasts long enough.

    I don't care if it means free 110% rides for every alt I'll ever make.

    If that's true it sounds like a very useful thing to have... you get it on all current and future alts, right?

    Try the RP-PvP servers

    Tried a bunch of servers on a Trial account just now and I can't get on any of the locked servers, I just get a message that says: "This server is locked - you may only create characters on this server if you have a character on this server already". Seems to me it's working as intended... Edit: Not entirely true.. it seems like RP-PvP servers lets you on, no other type does though.

    But you like Rift, at release that game had about the same or even less "features" then TOR , give it some time and they'll catch up.

    But you had to patch going back and forth, right? and if NA was on a later patch you couldn't go back until EU caught up?

    For MMOs it's more like a lease though, I think the car company might get pissed if you went and sold your leased car

    Oh we got a month alright.. technically not free since you had to be legacy level 6 to qualify, but still a month.

    Ah, fair enough.. guess I didn't play long enough. Still, it would be annoying playing for an hour and then get that message. Should be told when logging in or something.

    While I agree that not seeing anyone around would be suspicious.. there is no message telling you what's up, I know because I was curious and just tried it, they should not allow new chars on these servers.

    They really should hide the origin servers to people that doesn't have characters there so that new players doesn't make the mistake of creating their chars there...

    Stupid how? Report it yourself and tell people to report it.. if it's stupid enough chances are they'll make you change it..
