Hello, My name is Jared and I am a recent transfer from Prophecy of the Five. I am from California and am fed up with the republic side pvp on POT5 as well as being stuck on an East Coast server. I am starting this guild from the ground up and will focus on group pvp, both ranked and unranked. I currently have five 55s and do not mind helping people understand their class or helping with min-maxing their characters. Ok, I am a returning Guardian player. I played guardian since beta and launch but hung my hat during 1.5- 1.7 I believe. I have since played scoundrel heals and shadow dps. My friends and I came up with several possible specs for 2.4 and 2.5 we would like the community to test and give feedback. Both specs are defense / focus hybrid builds. What we need the community to test is the type of gear used in the spec. We dont have enough dps gear to test a full dps build using a shield instead of focus. So we are begging the community to test the viability of these specs for arena and general pvp. First spec, 33 / 2 / 11. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500rrRbddMRrdMZbZfbbk.3 Full control of defense tree with most of the necessary cooldowns including kick reset on force leap. 2nd spec, 27 / 2 / 17. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500RrRbddMRMbZbZfbbkrM.3 A bit less control, loss of kick reset on leap and 10 less seconds on enure. Gained auto crit on force sweep. 3rd spec, 28 / 7 / 11 http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500RrRbddMRMdZf0bZfbbk.3 Going up vigilance tree for a bit of focus on cc. With all the specs you get: -15s on stasis -15s on push 10% heal on resolute 3s root on force leap zealous leap w/ 1 sec root defensive stance 100% 30% bonus speed when guarded player is attacked instant (no channel) stasis hilt strike warding call I have to be honest, so far my favorite spec is the first spec with dps gear and a shield. I love all the control and cc and defensive cooldowns I get from defense but also the roots and stasis cooldown reduction from focus. Having the 3rd leap is also amazing with zealous leap. Ive been testing this with 2pc vindicator for guardian leap heal and 2 pc war leaders for 1sec more on stasis. So again, I beg the community to help me test a few specs with different sets of gear to see the viability of regular warzones and ranked arenas where dps and survivability matters most. Jared

Sorry, I should have been a bit more specific about pvp... I am looking at solo ranked queuing specifically, as well as ranked groups for those time periods.

I am currently stuck on PoT5 and live in California. I would love to be on a west coast server again. I currently have 3 55s and a few 50s, so moving over would be a permanent move. How is pvp during the times of 9pm - 1am PST? And are there any good republic guilds in need of someone that can dps or heal?

I'm currently on the Prophecy of the Five server with all my toons and was wondering how the Bastion server does with pvp republic side. I am mostly looking at solo ranked arena and group ranked arenas from the hours of 9pm pst until 1am pst. My server currently dies out around the time I get online since the server is east coast. Just looking for some advice from some that may have switched in the past or just those with good knowledge of pvp on Bastion around those hours.

Hello, I am just returning to the game and I cannot seem to find the Conservator's Leg Plates and Conservator's Boots at a decent price. If you have one of these relics unbound from back in the day I'd be willing to buy it off you for a decent price. Please do not try and gouge me. I was thinking about 1 million per piece. I run a similar spec to yours. I go up vigilance to get overhead slash and force rush and commanding awe. Its more of a pvp dps build than it is control like the original poster posted. Everything depends on group cohesion. I do a lot of solo queing and find that having a bit more damage saves my butt than does a few control abilities. However, if I were running in a premade all the time I would go more control. My gear is all battlemaster/warhero vigilance and while I am squishy I find that having a set of battlemaster defensive implants/earpiece, and warhero defensive relics helps out with huttball and defening nodes solo. Once I finish getting my Warhero vindicator ill get the 2 pc bonus for war leader set. With my current spec the 2pc bonus from defense is massive compared to 10% bonus damage for 5 seconds from attacks from the vindicator set.

I like many of you are feeling the wrath of being very unlucky when it comes to getting Battlemaster tokens. In the past 3 weeks I have opened 28 bags and only received 1 BM token so far. It happened to be my second bag. I have tried every myth in the book; being in an ops group, waiting a few minutes to open, etc.... with no luck. I am currently at the point where I am getting frustrated because I figured with this new patch I would be able to get some gear of my choosing at a decent rate. If the current trend continues it will take me a year or more until i get a full set of BM. Don't misunderstand me here, I am not complaining about a system in which I love, but I would like the DEVS to implement some sort of token buy-up system for BM tokens. I do not need Champion gear and my companions do not need Champion gear so what good are the tokens for?
