  1. Hi, So I've been in swtor since before release, and one of the major perks of being an early access pre-order is I got the character names I wanted for each of the classes I want to play. Now that my server (Juyo) is having a mass exodus to a Very Heavy populated server, I have concerns about the future of Juyo. None of my character names are available on the other servers I've looked into, so I'm fine to stay on Juyo if possible. (Not sure how bad the population will get). My real concern is what happens if they choose to merge servers or force transfer (etc)? I know character names shouldn't mean as much, but "to each, their own" - we all play and like different aspects of the game. Thoughts? - Dreamer
  2. Bump. Damn, all the complaining posts are stopping actual game discussion/questions.
  3. I've heard speculation that even on pve servers some world pvp planets are still pvp? I think Illum was mentioned? Can anyone confirm? Seems like pve might have just as much intiontional pvp, just less ganking and griefing? I liked pvp in WoW but with the great Class stories in ToR I think ganking is an unecessary distraction - want to level in all classes! Thoughts?
  4. I never made it past lvl 15 with any of my toons in any of the 3 beta weekends I got to play in, so I'm curious about the pvp for SWTOR. I'm not sure if I want to go pvp/pve server. How does world pvp compare to WoW? I played on a PVP server in WoW, but I was a rogue so I spent a lot of time stealthed and could vanish if necessary. I feel like there won't the the same focus on "raiding" opposing faction planets, as I don't see how anyone could attack Coruscant like they could Stormwind, since you need to take taxis to get any/everywhere. So is it just a few pvp/contested zones/planets? Sort of like Desolace, etc? Thoughts?
  5. ...is letting people post who haven't got their email yet. They wanted to avoid the forums being full of idiot posts from people who aren't playing (with active subscription); probably should've included early access. That would include me too, but all the crying is really obnoxious. EGA is a priveledge, not a right.
