  1. Hello all, I have this problem just now. Maybe I'm just missing something. The preview window closes whenever I open a new window except the inventory window. This means that it will close whenever I open the gtn, collection, and cm windows. The preview window also closes these three windows whenever I try to preview the armors. This makes it almost impossible to preview mixed armors and dyes unless they're in your inventory. Or am I just missing something? Thank you in advance. Ps. This wasn't a problem before with the old preview window. I can open collection and gtn windows to mix and match armor sets and try out dyes and the preview window never closes.
  2. Man, if I had known this would happen, i would've have spent a couple minutes last night redeeming the code. I came home late last night so I thought I had until I got home today to redeem the code.
  3. Thanks, the time is very specific on the page 11:59 PM Pst. It's only around 6:30 PM pst right now so I should be good.
  4. Hello all, today is the last day to redeem the code. But whenever I try to enter it into the redeem code area, nothing happens. It doesn't tell me that the code is invalid or anything. Nothing just happens when I click on the submit button. I click on it, tries to load for a millisecond and then stops and it just stays on the same page doing nothing. I tried logging and doing it in google chrome but the same thing happens. Anyone has the same problem? And yes, I click on the small square, otherwise, it will not let me click on the submit button.
  5. Hi all, I plan on making a sith character that is very reasonable when it came to light side and dark side decisions. Like choosing to kill those who deserve it while sparing and rewarding those who are loyal etc. Will this bite me back by the end of the game if I don't choose full light side or dark side? Also, I know the deal with Khem Val and Akghal Usar. I've asked this question at the sorc/sage board but I got no response so far. I thought I might get a response here. Spoiler: Thank you.
  6. Hi all, I'm duoing flashpoints and uprisings with a friend of mine. Shes mainly Tank and I'm usually DPS. We're thinking of going imperial this time and I was wondering if sorcerer is a good DPS. I doubt I'll ever do Ops or PVP. Just flashpoints and uprisings mainly. We plan on having our companions as healers so the bulk of the Damage will be coming from me. I chose Sorcerer DPS because they can heal somewhat (in emergencies) and I'm guessing they should be able to revive in the middle of the fight (right?). And on the Pub side, I was scoiundrel so this time, i want to use a lightsaber. Also, we found out that me being able to emergency heal as DPS helped us tremendously through those uprisings where our companions were more of a liability at times. (the one where there are 2 sniper bosses at the back of the room and the final boss after that) What's the best dps tree I should work on? How is the dps sorcerer ranked througout the dps classes? How are they in terms of DPS when compared to a ruffian scoundrel? I don't want to be healer because I'll be using this same character to farm heroics. Being main healer makes doing heroics slower so I try to avoid it. Also, I know the deal with Khem Val and Akghal Usar. My question is, if Khem Val's influence was maxed out before starting KotFE, and I get Akghal Usar afterwards, will Khem Val's influence transfer to him? Or will Akghal Usar start with 0 influence? I'm asking because I plan on using Khem Val at the very start. Maybe by the start of KotFE, he might be close or at max influence. Finally, my 2nd option is a mercenary. Compared to sorc, how are they in terms of dps? Thank you in advance.
  7. sweet! Thank you! That's all I wanted to hear!
  8. This would be a big slap in the face. Aside from finally getting some decent drops from my command crates, I've been playing quite a long time today (rarely happens on a good day) so I've finally made some progress.
  9. Thanks a lot. I decided to make a gunslinger and a scoundrel and leveled each of them to 10 to see which one of them will be fun to level. I'm surprised with some new skills of the scoundrel like that shotgun cone blast. It's great. I'm not sure though if he's going to be great in Veteran FPs. It's only the early levels though so I don't see any difference in terms of who kills enemies the fastest. I already have a scoundrel healer too so if I'm going to make a scoundrel, it's going to be purely dps. There's also the gear set from the command boxes that drop. I'm hoping Scoundrel DPS will have its own set and here's hoping, they'd be really good.
  10. Hello everyone. I'm looking for information. I've decided to do a dps from scratch and I chose smuggler. I'm torn between these too. Main reason I want Scoundrel dps is because of Stealth. I plan on doing every quests in the game and stealth makes finishing the most boring ones very fast. At the same time, I'll be pairing with a jedi guardian friend at level 70 to tackle harder content (hardmode / veteran but never operations and pvp) and I wasn't sure if I'll be sacrificing a lot of damage potential just so I can stealth. If the difference is minimal, I'll go scoundrel, but if the difference is very noticeable, I'll have no problem going gunslinger. Any thoughts especially for those who did both as dps? Thanks all.
  11. Thanks. Ruffian is the way to go for dps scoundrel? A while ago, I remember switching to DPS with my healer scoundrel to easily farm hard mode flashpoints (didn't know if my healing can keep up yet with current gear) I think I did the other dps tree. And I saw it do really good damage with sucker punch as my main bread and butter. I remember seeing elite mobs die really fast with multiple sucker punches. shotgun them from behind from stealth, they get knocked downr, before they could get up, they'd be almost dead or are dead. I haven't done a gunslinger yet though so I don't know how they compare.
  12. Hi everyone, I'm trying to decide on a DPS character. I've done a lot of tanks and healers so I wanted to start a DPS from scratch. Normally, a gunslinger would be a no brainer. However, I really like being able to stealth. Makes most things in the games go fast especially side quests if I stealth past enemies. This time, I plan on doing every story and sidequests including the bonus quests so I can maximize my exp gain past 70 for command levels. But at the same time, I want to be able to quickly finish boring quests by being able to stealth past most enemies. Is the DPS difference between a gunslinger and a scoundrel really huge? Because I also plan on teaming this character with a jedi guardian friend for some more difficult content once I'm level 70. Is the faster kill of a gunslinger makes up for not being able to stealth past enemies? Other option is Jedi Shadow since they have stealth too. Thanks all.
  13. Making the weapon tunings only available on the CM the first time they released was a very bad and kind of insulting move especially by making it rare. Making it a common or silver drop would have probably made it ok. Why didn't they think of releasing at least one free one that you can get from a quest or better, a reasonably priced bind on pickup one from a vendor? At least let people use the new feature that was hyped up. They can save the flashy ones in the CM but at least let people use the new feature without spending an enormous amount of CC or credits. I don't think it would have been that hard to set it up. Just like how they set up the strongholds. There are very affordable ones when they first released and very expensive ones for the ones that want higher tier. They were hyping up the tuning and everyone was very excited about it. I know they said they'll eventually make it so you can get it in quests. But when? 6 months from now? All I'm saying is, it's a jerk move to do it the way it is now.
  14. According to the q & a, Will we be able to modify existing weapons? Many of the existing weapons you have will support the Weapon Tuning slot, but not all. We will continue adding them to existing weapons over time and all new weapons introduced will have this slot. And as for the part if you can unlock them for all characters, I doubt it . Here's the mention on it: Weapon Tunings work like any other Weapon Modification – once you have placed one in a weapon, you will need to pay a fee to extract it. Placing one into a weapon will bind it to your character, and Weapon Tunings are not a part of the Collections Interface.
