i have a laptop with an i3 in it, does anybody know if its possible to replace that with an i5 or i7? im forced to use the integrated graphics and i think we all know how well that works... not to good. the upgraded processor would help make things run a little smoother.

please, for the love of what ever deity you want to believe exists, release a damn app for the wp7 already. and i guess for the bb also, but that can wait.

im not quitting. i got 2 time cards for xmas. so, i have atleast 120 days. and after that? depends on how the updates are.

just wanted to post a positive thread about running on an underpowered laptop. i only have an i3 with integrated graphics and 4 gigs of ram and the game runs ok for me. sure, everything is on low, no shadows, etc... but i can play it. my fps is down to 6-7 on the fleet but 15-20 just about everywhere else except pvp. that is a slide show. before i play i go into task manager and close out everything i dont need. is it optimal, not in the least. but i can and do play. thats it. i just got sick of seeing so many ************ threads and very few positive ones. i will say, i do hope they optimize it for low end systems as i cant upgrade anytime soon.

very cool. thank you. i dont think the single pci slot will be a big deal as i dont do a lot of pc gaming. got an xbox and ps3 for gaming. but ive been looking forward to this game for awhile and want to be able to play it at decent settings and fps. and my wife can use it also, i guess.

ok, my turn. looking to build a comp. only can spend around 500. want to go intel i3 (so i can upgrade to something better at a later date). any suggestions would be really help. i am not against buying a prebuilt if its worth it, but i would prefer to build my own. thanks in advance...

here is the way i see it: if i meet or exceed the minimum specs i should be able to play the game, not watch a slide show. thats what the minimum specs are for. they are the minimum you need to be able to play the game. i fully admit, my laptop is not the best for gaming. so run everything on low. i except that, but i should be able to get above 10 fps reliably. and dont tell me to buy a new computer, life gets in the way of spending 1k on a new computer. my wife would kick me out of bed, and tell me to sleep with my new computer. and that is not worth it. hopefully bioware are aware of the issue and are working on it. i just wish they would acknowledge it. also, its not just laptop players that are having problems. ive read many posts from people who have computers in various states of greatness that are having these problems. thats my 2c, i really enjoy this game and will continue to play and will hopefully be able to cobble together a comp for around 500.

also, run it in windows mode. that helps a lot.
