    This is ridiculous, I understand and don't mind a queue of 15 mins or so but 90 minute wait times are unacceptable! Mr Reid and his team need to understand that alot of people actually work full time jobs and only have a hour or so to log in,unwind & play.

     

     

    The queues are only getting worse and nothing is being done about it.

    Now that you've played for a while, will SWTOR overtake WoW?

    No chance, Wow is truly a special MMO. Don't get me wrong I am really enjoying SWTOR and think its a great game but if I had to recommend one or the other to someone who was NEW to MMO's i would point them in WOW's direction.

     

     

    SWTOR really dropped the ball when it came to the world design/layout. WOW still has that epic feel of freedom where you can go wherever you want when you want without that rat in a maze feel of SWTOR. This is truly the core of any MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER game... Not story.

     

    In my opinion SWTOR is a great alternative to those like myself who loved WOW but are just burned out on the game (after 4 years). As far as SWTOR overtaking WOW, No chance, Half the people that play this game within the first 2 months will go back to azeroth.

    OP Great post and I really hope the devs take notice and read this. I'm now lvl 17 and had no clue about hammer station until i did a google search of swtor instances last night. I really love this game and I am having a blast playing it but i can't help but feel not enough attention and effort was put into the multiplayer aspect of this game.

     

    I really love to experience ALL the raid content a MMO has to offer and hate missing out on a run after I realize I have exceeded the recommended lvl. Something needs to be changed here.

    Something I did notice is that it seemed to give echo chat info about me entering class areas. I am wondering if somehow the client engine is running multiple instances. Otherwise I think some processing is taking place that is beyond the local area the character is at including graphical processing.

     

    example: in the Chat Box it will be like

    Yeah I was getting horrendous lag on Balmora this morning and it was doing that when i looted a quest item, The progress bar for looting the item would go through its phase 3 times.

    Can I run ultra max on this set up:

     

    EVGA Nvidia GTX 460 1024MB GDDR5

    AMD Phenom II Six Core 3.3 GHz

    16 Gig of RAM

    Windows 7 64 bit

     

    Without a doubt, I am running everything on Max with a much weaker PC. I have a 6850 with a quad core 2.4 ghz 4 gigs of ram and averaging 35-40 fps, Really the fps swings anywhere from 30 fps all the way up to 65 or so , but rarely if ever does it dip under 30.

    People staying logged on even when AFK.

    Dear Bioware,

     

    Part of the reasons that the queue's are not moving are because people are not logging out due to macros, or the old pen in the keyboard trick.

     

    Pen in the keyboard huh ? Thanks i never even thought of this, No way am I waiting in another 35 minute queue tonite when i take a break to eat. If anyone on Iron citadel see's a fat Twilek running into a wall , don't worry its just me chowing down on some hot wings with the ole pen in the keyboard trick. Thanks! :D
