As a GAME 8/10 As a MMO 5/10

More like GW2 = PVP MMO SWTOR = PVE single player co-op Both are/will be great games but lets see them for what they really are.

It was a HUGE waste of time and resources with the exception of class quests. Class quest VO is freackin aawesome and I enjoy every second of it, But the fetch and kill 10 of x quests are a huge waste which I like most players just skip through. And where is the VO in flashpoints, Seriously Bioware how did you botch this up ? You spent all this time with VO and story and then completely ignore majority of the flashpoints where your VO and cutscenes would have shined the most, WITH OTHER PLAYERS..... This is a MMO you made, smarten up.

I said this after playing the open Beta, Great Game , below average MMO.

I really haven't seen any of that on my server , probably because 3/4 of the players are space baring through conversations and cut scenes lol.

I love a great story, As a matter of fact I am a huge bioware fan and have enjoyed every game they have made thus far. Perhaps you didn't take the time to actually read what i wrote. I didn't say they should have left story out of this game I am simply pointing out the FACT that too much focus was OBVIOUSLY spent on story while BASIC features of any AAA MMO were ignored. There is no denying this, unless of course this is your first MMO. I just feel Bioware mislead there customers advertising this as a MMO when it clearly is not, Its basically a single player co-op game with a chat box.

I'm not sure who the "Lead man" top dog,what have you was on this game but whoever he was goofed big time allowing so much focus ,time & resources to be spent on story while neglecting what really makes a MMO great- atmosphere , ambiance ,planet design and giving that overall sense that you are in a living breathing world, All things SWTOR lacks.

Hell no, There is no chance I would have the patience to do all the same quests (minus the few class quests) over again not to mention going through the exact same linear questing path on each planet. I'll be surprised if I can even hit 50 on 1 character before unsubbing from the linear boredom of the planets.

I played the first escort mission, failed it and haven't touched it since. lol Thats my opinion.

Op what do you mean ? Are you reffering to all the negative feedback or just the overall organization of topics?

I can think of a dozen enviorments that would fit into star wars lore that don't take place on a ship. Yeah I realize the game is only a month old but where is the Raid/flashpoint on a Hutts palace ? Now that would be epic....

This is really disappointing news. I really love seeing other players in my group in up-close cutscenes making voiced dialogued choices I was really hoping this was something that was going to return post lvl 30.

LVL 30 Here and the last 3 flashpoints I have done have all pretty much been the same. Bioware couldn't you have put a little more creativity into the envoriment design? I feel like I am running the same thing over and over again. The bosses are lack-luster and boring & the Mobs offer no challenge whatsoever. But here is my biggest gripe, You invest all this time into creating voice acting and these cool cutscenes but don't include them in your raids with other LIVE PLAYERS??!!! I don't understand why black talon the 1st flash-point has 2 or 3 cutscenes with your group and everyone that has followed simply has you and your group standing at a computer console with no VO whatsoever. Do flashpoints get any better after Cademimu ? *** Wookie with a flamethrower boss was pretty cool though lol

In my opinion the MAJORITY will do their talking at the end of February. I expect Most, yes even the disgruntled on these forums to at least stay for 1 month beyond their free one. I am going to predict by the end of Feb you will see a ton of articles of SWTOR Sub plummets as players move on.

I have a 6850 and the only slowdown/low fps i get is on the imperial fleet , we are talking 10 or less fps as opposed to 50+ in outdoor area's. I guess there was a reason they instanced this game to hell and created "questing hubs" that take the massive out of the Massively multiplayer Online game....

I'm not trying to troll here but to me the game already feels a bit dated and nothing innovative is doing in SWTOR. How much longer could they have waited to release this game ? Lets get real, If this game was put on hold till dec 2012 it would have been laughable at launch, You really think this game is going to hold its own verse the likes of Guildwars 2 or Tera not to mention the next WOW expansion which is dated as well but at least will do it better than Swtor.

Agree 100% OP, Its a really a shame they way they butchered this game with the way the designed the planets.

People will move on from this game for one and one reason alone, The poor design of the planets. The linearity and boredom to ever visit old content will lead to people simply waiting around for bioware to pump out new content which they won't be able to do fast enough to keep players interested . My prediction is this game will go F2PLAY by next Christmas.

I wonder if the guys who designed the New chevy Camaro get pissed when people compare it to the Ford Mustang ? Thats basically what is going on here.

When WOW released it was new and fresh, although people will say WOW stole from everquest it still felt like a completely new game/experience. Swtor and even games like Rift feel & play like WOW thus the demand for "clones" to launch with the same features and content people are use to is a must. The reality is , If SWTOR was a fresh and a completely new expierance or at least felt that way people wouldn't make comparisons but the fact is this game is very World of Warcrafty and thus people are going to compare.

Nar Shaddaa, You mean that awesome looking city that really doesn't let you go explore any of the amazing looking buildings you fly over when you taxi from one quest hub to the next

OP I hate agree with every word you said because i really wanted to love this game and I'm going to keep lvling with the high hopes that it gets better at later lvls. As of now I feel like I am paying for a single player game ( and a very average one at that). There is no massive in this MMO.
