I think it would be nice to allow you to buy rep with the certs. I have lots of certs but some reps I would like to raise and I hate buying the packs just for rep.

thanks. I umm got a few of the really cheap mounts and put them on a quick bar. I always forget which one I have out at the time and just right click the icon instead of searching. or yes I will force leap thanks for the answers!

Ok so a couple of questions. first ummm how do you dismount without right clicking in the buff area? Am I missing an easy way to dismount? Ok in an effort to get the darth training statue I was going to get the contraband pack from the cartel market? HOw does it work with the vendors? I get the rep I get the cartel certificates I go and buy the statue. Does that put it in my collections so I can unlock on all my characters (with coins of course) or is it just that one character? Same way with the armor on the ice vendor. I have the rep I need to get all expect the chest (the loki looking armor) If I buy all but the chest piece from the rep vendor and then get the chest from the gtn does it unlock the whole outfit? You could always upgrade the same way you do a computer. When you can no longer do the things you want to do with it. If you are not having a problem with her performance then that is your call. It would probably be quicker with higher level items but that really is your call.

It seems that cartel market has different new items at different times of the week. Is there a normal schedule for new stuff? and is there a place to go to see what is on sale while I am stuck at work so I can mentally plan? (no me bored at work??? NEVER)

Ok so I got bored and bought one of the cheap hypercrates last night. I already had two of the outfits unlocked. I noticed afterwards that I only got like two pieces of armor from the outfits I already had in collections. Is this just random chance? or does it happen more? tldr: if you buy a hypercrate with some of the outfits in your collection do the chances of you getting them go down?

Hello all, I am new to the server and new to the game. (yes I have a level 22 character fear me) I play on imperial side for now but I had a few questions about the social conventions on the server and in the game in general. Imperial side mainly but republic would be nice for future reference. 1. I see in the crafting thread that one of the items is 500k plus mats to craft. The question is what is a typical tip for the others that are mats only (I am sure tips are appreciated by all) is 500k typical or is that for a really special item and other items are lower? 2. I have not done many flashpoints but I am not sure of the protocol. I have only done dps. a. kill order. I come from wow and I usually kill whatever the tank is hitting, but it seems that it goes weak to strongest and the dps is expected to kill the little stuff first and then what the tank is hitting. I dont want to pull aggro by not shooting at the tanks object. On the flip side I have a tank specced warrior that I am working on. If i tank a fp I usually will gather all the mobs and then attack the one I want them to kill first so I am sure to keep aggro. Just making sure of how people do it so I can adjust. b. Rolling on items. I saw elsewhere in the forums (new player help) that some places it is ok to roll on the mods in an item. For an example I did a flashpoint and a double bladed light saber dropped (orange one) I did not see it was double sided (oops) and thought it was a single one with better stats so I rolled need. The mods in it were much better than what i had even though I did could not actually use a double sided lightsaber. Is this permitted or is it you have to be able to use the base weapon and not just the mods? c. I have specced dps sorcerer but I have a heal button. From the couple of fp I have run it does not seem that I need full healer spec to que as healer. Is it ok to que as healer with a dps spec (I will be the healer) This is for leveling. at top level I would switch and gear appropriately. 3. I am thinking of trying to do a solo guild for the extra space and for me to have a venue to share things with my girlfriend when she starts playing soon. a. Does it take a group of 4 only to start a guild? (i saw the vendor and such) b. What is the normal tip to ask people to form it with me then leave. (like 50k a person)

I got the hypercrate to turn over as a whole. But with them being cheap the market was flooded so they were dropping rapidly. Since the crates had fallen to average about 175k per in the hypercrate and the packs were going for 300 I busted it open to sell them seperately. Then they wanted me to wait another 36 hours. So i rationalized opening the packs. Then was like damn. never again! I am more in search of credits to buy outfits and mounts and pets and all the vanity stuff.

ok I just wanted to make sure I was on the right track. I was going to sell off the cheap stuff and hold on to the expensive stuff and hope the go on embargo soon!

Ok so I have been playing about a month now. I got all stupid and bought a hypercrate and then opened it. I got some decent things but nothing special. Question is this. It seems to me that the one or two good things I got that if I waited until the packs are embargoed the prices will go up. But since it is armor and a speeder will they go up a lot? or does new packs mean new things and the old goes down? or is it not really that noticeable? I know it is server specific but just in general? tldr: Good stuff from hypercrate. Keep till goes up or sell now?

Hello again, Thank you all so much for all the help and I am sorry about the questions. Here is my situation. I am new to the game and I want to get my girlfriend playing. She has said yes but work commitments make it difficult to execute for a few months. I was going to use refer a friend for the extra stuff. I was thinking about doing it before July 15th so she would get the expansion house. Question is this: Will it work? My plan is this. a. send her refer a friend b. she signs up and subscribes for a month c. she goes back to non sub after a month till she can play more Will she still be able to use the new house?(when she finally can play) or do you lose the unlocks when you drop subscriptions? thank you
