  1. any refunds planned for the lost day i'm having and the distress of re downloading the entire client?
  2. this is bigger than just faction balancing, is taking very good healing classes like trooper AND BH and lowering them to what they think being more reasonable, while doing the same for sages/sorc. think this is just the beginning of the nerfhammer
  3. This patch is being made for people like Anathar, to make them happy, nothing more. That is all the proof it needs.
  4. You see, i raid about all evenings and during those for healers there is already times we are out of resources the way it is. Increasing the cost of my heals (as a trooper) is not something i have to test. 1+1=2 my heal cost more + i recharge less ammo=i have more times i'll be out of ammo.
  5. About the upcoming patch, i feel that what is going to be done, expecially to the healers is wrong. The game is more than pvp, there is a pve side aswell. Looking at the videos from the developers what i felt was they wanted to give power to the player, make him/her feel strong, no matter the class. How am i supposed to feel that when in operations my ammo/force/energy is gonna run out in 45 sec? Healing is a critical part of the game and is a constant need, not being able to do so for like 20 seconds while waiting for ammos to return is not gonna make you feel powerful. While looking at the posts asking for nerfs, you should ask yourself, why are ppl not posting telling us they are happy? because they are happy, so they are playing their characters. I can say i tried almost all healing classes on both dark and light side and for my years long experience in games, what a player really needs is a class able to do the job. If i'm a healer, i want to be able to be a MAIN healer, not a secondary one. Nobody likes feeling like just a 2nd choice character. On the operative, while being in a situation where all of my party was taking dmg at the same time i actually had to choose which of them letting die, because the energy regen was no way enough. I never had that issue on the trooper or the sage. So the big idea is: instead of letting all healing-able classes able to heal in hard mode and operations ON PAR, let make all of them unhappy so that later we will have people posting because they can't do operations anymore. I'm not just making excuses. The people posting whining about healers are the same guys which don't even try for a second to work in game. I.E.: on a player base of 50 lvl 50 dark side players, about 30 guys had characters able to go for healing spec. Out of those 30 only 1 had the idea to respec healer, me. Once i was healing and taking the ball handler to the score line, we "magically" won games of hutball. Out of those 50 players 1 decided to heal: how many decided to make a post of complaints saying that healers are OP? probably more. All takes to not let me heal is killing me, but most of te time nobody tries. Is too easy to say a healer is overpowered. The way things are now, is quite easy already to get out of ammo/energy/force in hard modes, but (not for the operative/scoundrel) we can pop a cool down soon enough and get back to work. With the changes which are being planned, that is not going to be possible, because running out of resources will be easier. What are we supposed to do then? Heal until we can and...watch? Bosses are not getting any easier. AND THAT IS NOT THE ANSWER. Do you think nerfing that will help pvp? ofc not. As an operative healer, with a good gear, i had an incredibly hard time while healing in hard modes when the whole party was taking damage. In pvp i was still able to get over 300k healing. Why? because i could get easily out of combat and recharge, die and get back full energy, put myself in a safe position or what not. Nerfing the resource regeneration process is not going to solve anything in pvp. Healers will still be able to heal and people will still be whining. To recap: 1)healing in pvp will still be the same because of the game dynamics. 2)healing in pve advanced places will be slower and get people to die and rage, putting you in the same situation where you are now, having pleople complaining, this time with a good reason. 3)If a class has a tank/heal chance, it should have full potential to do the job without having to feel a 2nd rate class. 4) consider the amount of players happy with how things are and not talking because they are actually playing.(just the operative/scoundrel healer having to be redone to be brought on par) 5)remember what you wanted for the game, making the player feel powerful. IF YOU AGREE TO WHAT I SAY, EVEN ONLY IN PART, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS POST. don't let the pve healing die because of whiners. Thx for reading
