  1. Thanks, and this is exactly why I included the title. Just a point of reference
  2. I posted this as a reply to another thread, but wanted to part with this: Re: Companions... Dangle that carrot then take away. What a kick to the groin... it's astonishing how poorly BW has handled this. I am a founder that played and quit due to the absolute aggravation of forcing casuals to find groups to do normal grindy weeklies and dailies. After more than a 1.5 year hiatus, a friend convinced me to come try KOTFE... and I loved it. The beauty of this new expansion was the fact that if my guild mates were online, I could run things with them, if not, I could whip out my companion and do what I please. The first two weeks of KOTFE were an absolute joy, I was finally able to run what I wanted to and able to have FUN by myself if needed. Now, after spending the time, credits and coins raising my companion to 50 influence, we are being punished by knee jerk reactions made by the 1% elite who play this game 24/7. That's it for me, last straw. I'm canceling and letting my subscription end. You won't see me back here again b*tching about not getting my way. There's FAR too many good games out there to put up with these irresponsible and horrible business decisions. I'll take my money elsewhere and that's the end of that.
  3. Anyone else have this problem? Also, I just came back to the game... is there no more Search function on the forums?
  4. My turning point was realizing if you work a 2nd shift job (i.e. 3pm to 12am) after hitting 50, there is absolutely nothing to do when you get home. Servers are dead, and they go down at 2am so much there's no point in playing. I tried leveling some alts, but that got old after getting to 30 on a several different toons. I tried sitting in the imp fleet looking for OPs or FPs, but no one is running them, and on the off chance I do run a FP, bounty hunter stuff drops in the end. I tried pvp'ing for several weeks, but after valor rank 29 have yet to get one piece of useful gear (Well that's not true, I got the same ear piece 4 times) so I get steam rolled in pvp. And from what I hear, there's absolutely no reason to pvp after getting Battlemaster. Last but not least, one of the two guys I initially started playing with at game launch had his Sith Inquisitor's class quest bug at level 43 and after 4 weeks, they haven't fixed it. He's had all his tickets ignored and/or closed. He can't even get his last companion Xelek (which I love) anyway, He was supposed to be our group healer but he just gave up and quit because they kept giving him worthless fixes that didn't work. I'll log on every once in a while with my friend on my two days off for a bit, but that's it. I just don't care to log in at all really.
  5. Me too, and I hope they take it as constructive criticism. The OP did a great job with feedback and like he said in a response, it's not an unsubscribe thread. I will be watching the game's progress as well, but don't feel it's a good time investment for me as there are other really good options for gaming at the moment.
  6. You're exactly right and you replied before I could finish my edit. Fast response time
  7. This is an extremely accurate, responsible and rational assessment and I could not agree more with the OP. I gave up on pve a few weeks ago for the exact reasons mentioned above... so I started to pvp and after several weeks of "luck" champion bag mechanics (I wouldn't even call it RNG because RNG seems to offer a glimmer of hope) I have quit trying. Having a pvp system set up that relies solely on gear is really irresponsible. Anyway, there's absolutely no reason to log on anymore. I might come back at a later date but done with this game for now.
  8. If this ability delay issue is not fixed before my free month runs out, I will just cancel and go play something else. I can't even dps in groups and forget about pvp. The casting animations sometimes don't even play by the time the ability is through. I can't believe not one word has been mentioned about this from Bioware. I don't have very much emotional investment in this game so it makes no difference to me. I want to love this game, but sluggish combat and unresponsive animations and casting times are a complete deal breaker for me. Diablo 3 is looking better all the time.
  9. Yes. Cancel your order and I'll send you updates on the game while I play today
  10. I'm calm, cool and collected. Can't wait to play! I ordered Sept. 7 so shouldn't be too long!
  11. peanut butter and honey sandwiches are the bomb! put some sliced bananas on there too! it's really filling and bananas are cheap!
  12. Amazon did in fact change pre orders to release date delivery. Our complaints were heard!
  13. This might have been mentioned already, but did anyone notice their Amazon pre-order was changed to release date delivery? I'm pretty pumped!
