Man what makes you think everyone has that kind of free time. Yeah it's easy to reroll a character but some have put in a lot of time on their particular toons. For some people time and money are short. You have try to see the point of view of the people stuck in this predicament.

Apparently you haven't read my posts. Go back read my post and then come back please. My sole desire to transfer was to unite the legacy, which I was not afforded to do in the past. I do not think I am allowed to set the price I am merely voicing my opinion. Which is the same thing we are all doing here on the forums. Pay attention man.

I mean I PVP but I play every aspect of this game. You may even catch me in space once in awhile. Luxury DD's crack killed me.

I must have hit a sensitive spot. spoiled little rich kids are coming out of the woodworks. I never was a WOW player though. Do they really have $275.00 transfers???!!! Holy hell. And just for the record I'll pay it if I have to but I'll definately be conflicted about it. My point is...not everyone who plays this game is able to pay that kind of transfer fee. What's reasonable to you most certainly may not be reasonable for someone else. Surely you can't be so dense as to disagree with that.

And to you sir allow me to reiterate one of my previous statements...........PISS OFF!!! There are kids who play this game too man. You show me one- non-gaming- parent who would think that is a reasonable amount of money for their kid to request of them for a damned videogame. I would have got smacked in the back of the head asking for $100.00 for a game I'd been playing for two years already. You want to talk about being entitled. Kids are entitled to have a good time on a game they love without having to gouge their parents to compensate for being gouged for their videogame. But obviously you spoiled little rich kids who have money to burn know nothing about that. Can't stand douchebags like you who love to throw out that word "entitled". O.K. So let me lay out a scenario for you. Lets say a Father and son decided at launch that the were going to create all of their Republic characters on one server and all of their Imperial characters on another. They play happily and enjoy themselves and then SWTOR introduces the legacy system...... D'oh we made a mistake. Next come the mandatory server merges. Father and son rub their hands together in anticipation of uniting their legacies on the same server. Bioware then discloses the fact that they will not be able to choose which server they transfer to.......D'oh. Father and son try to remain optimistic and hope to get lucky with the merger. Alas they are unlucky and their Republic toons and Imperial toons are still separated on two servers. So father and son decide to wait for paid server transfers. And they wait.......and they wait...... and they wait. Next finally after nearly a year paid server transfers are announced. YAY!!!!!! So now father and son after nearly a year after the abandonment of one of their factions get to transfer....... I don't know let's say they had 6 Imperial players apiece, both of them had a sniper; operative, powertech, marauder, sorcerer, and an assassin. So on top of the wonderfully reasonable recurring subscription of about $155.00 biannually. They get the news that for the "reasonable" price $180.00 they can finally unite their legacies on the same server.....???? If you think that reasonable I think you bumped your head. And if you think their aren't people who have been caught in a similar situation I say you are extraordinarily ignorant of the facts. And if you think the father and son described in the scenario above want everything for nothing and not at a "reasonable" price or get a legacy bundle rate, I simply say........PISS OFF!!!

Nope! Sorry man. I have excellent credit. Still doesn't mean I have money to piss away on overpriced server transfers though! And you are aware that the legacy system wasn't in game at launch aren't you? Because it doesn't sound like you are.

Dude nobody wants everything for nothing. We're more than willing to pay a "reasonable" price to transfer characters. It's just that some people have a crapload of alts that they want to move. Perhaps some people have family members that they want to move as well. Personally I think they've had legacy bundle transfers already planned and Eric and the rest of the Bioware team are all sitting in a room, giggling their asses off watching us all go at each others throats on the forums. Bottom line it would just be stupid to not have a legacy bundle option. But in case they don't. You seem to have bags of money laying around at your house. Why don't you let me borrow a bag.

Ironically I believe my legacy would be maxed out had I been able to transfer a few characters awhile back. Imagine that.

Well unfortunately for some people -like me- who haven't maxed out their legacy. It's still a legitimate concern.

I think you're mistaken man. Legacy system makes a lot of difference. I know you take your current legacy level with you, but as of right now, you don't accumulate legacy xp with alts a cross different servers. That's the point, and I don't think that was a change they have planned to implement either. I think this game is a little more unique than you are willing to admit.

I guess we'll find out one way or the other come Tuesday.

This is exactly how I feel. The people talking about "I think merges were done right!" Obviously got their legacy merged with a whole lot of luck involved. Because they sure as hell never had the opportunity to transfer where they "chose" to transfer to. So to encourage people to roll multiple alts and putting off transfers for nearly a year knowing the majority of your consumer base will roll alts and then charge a flat rate PER character, .....is just appalling. You know I've been a recurring subscriber since launch, bought your collectors edition, and I honestly love your game, but if you guys gouge us like this without having a legacy option that I haven't heard mentioned as of yet.......that's just wrong. I guess all I can say is that you guys should be ashamed of yourselves Bioware. I will give you guys credit for an outstanding money making scheme though......... Seriously man I've been feeling like that since they introduced the legacy system. They've definitely been dragging their feet. I believe it's going to be extraordinarily profitable for Bioware. Makes me think that's why they've been dragging their feet. CHA-CHING!!!!!!

Even if its 3000cc's that a whole lot of $$ for someone to move over a few characters. Hopefully they'll charge by the legacy and not per character.
