Is it 5% total dmg increased or 5% per stack?

I was going to back as sub with some friends as f2p. But after 10min talking on ts about those UI and hide helmet/unify colors restrictions, they kind changed their mind about coming back. Thats sad because I really like the game but I dont wanna play it again without my friends.
