QFT, endless bugs that block your progression might be the most frustrating thing in this game

I have never had problems killing a sorc, or any other class for that matter, 1v1.

Scoundrels are more powerful 1v1 now because of the changes. Just may take slightly longer, but will win more encounters.

After a week or two of dismay at the proposed sc/op changes, I was very happy to learn today that although burst damage is lowered slightly, the resolve bar is no longer completely filled with the opener. This will open up some interesting combos and excites me for competitive pvp. It would've been nice to quell the outrage with a statement with the FULL changes though. I still think that shadow/SA tank spec is the strongest class by far in 1v1. Surprised that nobody has really complained about that.

I never said I wasn't still going to be good. The whole point of the post was to fight that this class is the only class that can do big damage and hardest to "counter" 1v1. Because 1v1 matters SO much. That's like saying, don't let this running back run so fast because he just trucks all my corners

Must be a sad life to not give 100% effort on everything you do and try to get better, especially at something competitive like a multiplayer VG.

I'm sorry my fellow "elitists" and I understand my class and the nuances and mechanics of the game that make myself a better player than most people. Probably another 99%er that breaks my rules in the first post.

And this is important why? Because you like to express your inner star wars with a picture from a gallery? How many of my criteria did you break? 4? 5? all of them?

Paying attention to your average skilled, keyboard turning, button clicking, backpedaling player, the strategy and thought that goes into killing an operative and understanding the player's role was deemed too difficult by the average $15 dollar/month player. It wasn't the class that was balanced, it was BW's checkbook. Before you post, ask yourself this: How does your gear look compared to the TOP players on your server? Is it close? Do you find that you always have 3-7k less HP than the people you are playing against? Do you do the things I listed earlier? This includes but is not limited to keyboard turning, button clicking, and backpedaling. Are you even level 50? If you can answer "Yes!" to these questions I will greatly appreciate your input edit: adding more things are you playing a spec that is a PvP build? ex. if you are a sorc/sage that doesn't have the stun on shield break, don't post Does your computer run the game well? This means 30+ fps Do you play your class to its full or almost full potential? (if you have to ask it's a no)

I think this would solve a lot of headache if people actually experienced a majority of content for their class and had a more overall feel for the game before complaining about X or Y. Thoughts?

You already get a full white resolve bar from the Opener or Mezz from stealth.

Is the forum moving really fast or can nobody provide any valid responses as to why the skills I listed are not just as/more valuable than being able to do a big opener? Before you say "PLAY ANOTHER CLASS NOOB" I also have a 50 guardian, but about half as geared.

That is very true, I have not played the class to 50 so I am not 100% confident in what skill he is using to hit 7k, but I can confirm that sweeps do crit for 5k, and his log at the end shows a biggest from anywhere between 5-7.6k. Granted it is probably on a level 10 or whatnot, but nevertheless a very high hit. For the "can't heal no cc, etc" response, do you expect every class to have the same abilities and always play pub?

I play a scoundrel, and yes it is easy to see how powerful they can be given the correct circumstances against pub groups. What you don't see are any videos of scoundrels doing well against premades. Why is this..? And why are no tanks complaining..? I'll leave you to answer that yourself. However, on my server, there are Juggs/Guardians that do an insane amount of burst, way more than I am capable in full champ gear. We are talking 7k hits, believe it's with plasma brand/sith equivalent, and 5k sweeps on me, and about 5k/3.5k to tanks. The few people that will ever beat me in damage in a WZ. Just curious to see why there are not more complaints about this.

Great post. To add to the list, I personally also find that there are way too many players that simply rage at the other team instead of taking a quick opportunity to educate on people's mistakes. That is the internet for ya, I guess. As for huttball positioning, I have developed a system for communicating location quickly through chat or VOIP. Find it here or in my sig: http://swtorchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=129&t=10 Instead of an ambiguous LEFT!! or UPPP!!, my teammates and I will use quick phrases like, "pass 3 mid" or "jump 1 high" to communicate exactly where the focal point is.
