  1. Thanks for the reply. I will be in touch.
  2. Title says it all. Sawbones first, Scrapper second. PvP focused please. I'm very casual - on and off frequently pretty much every night. When on though, I'm always down for whatever. On the West Coast and have a life and job/family which is why I'm also looking for a guild that is not all hardcore. I'd like to be able to PvP with others (or alone if nobody available) when I log on, and not have to worry about being hated if I want to be a dad/husband. VERY THICK SKINNED ADULT. Started playing MMO's in Vanilla WoW (Kilrogg FTW), played various games and was here at launch. I left this game for D3 at their launch, and was gone until late January of this year when I returned. At which point I realized that absolutely nobody I use to play with is here anymore. And rolled solo for a long while. I was (ninja) invited to join the casual guild <Lagaan> about two months ago and have been there since. The guild is a social group, good bunch of guys/gals. People come and go, and it is my time to leave. TL;DR: Good Veteran MMO Sawbones LF PvP Guild
  3. Yes, this spec is VERY gear dependent. Power is king after you hit your DM. Cunning isn't horrible either. I've had to change three (?) enhancements and maybe one (?) mod to be consistently effective in WZ's. I'm in mostly partisan/couple conquerer pieces and easily get 350-400k-ish in normal matches (as much as 600k in a really long match). * I know that's not much to every other class, but for the scrappers that pug, and the ones I have played with on Pot5, it's aight. I'm mostly a healer anyway. I just Scrap when I'm bored with healing, or there are too many healers in the WZ. If you do go for Scrapper though, DO NOT be damage/number driven. Objectives, objectives, objectives, suit us better a lot of the time. Only fight when you need to, or you should be. Numbers come fast if you choose targets wisely and have the power to put up some good bursts. Of course there are matches where there are no heals and a pre-made is demolishing you. There is nothing you can do in those matches... I suggest you also build a Sawbone set. Switch back and forth when you're frustrated, it helps. ***EDIT: This should probably be in the Scoundrel forum?
  4. Use an accent maybe? I don't want you to have to compromise, but odds may be that the person with the name, may not play anymore, ALT+130= é ALT+136= ê ALT+137= ë ALT+138= è ALT+231= τ ect... You get the point.
  5. So.... we rolling alts and making a <Peoples from Port Nowhere> guild, or what? Or too much work and we don't care that much?
  6. I put in a ticket about this when 2.0 launched... their response: submit a thread in the suggestion box. .. I have not done so yet.
  7. I'm going to reserve judgement until tomorrow when this goes live and I have played it. Sure, it looks like a quick fix (and it probably is), but if PvP is changed substantially after tomorrow, I will assume that we're on the right track to EVENTUALLY fix this crap. Running full PvP gear should give you the advantage tomorrow, after this augment glitch is fixed. Even a skilled Partisan geared player should be able to tear it up (in theory). Personally, I feel bolster has no place in 55, and if so, it should be minimal to only give PvE geared folks a taste of what the stat can do, so they can start their quest to PvP gear, with a small advantage.
  8. Each class has it's kryptonite class. While we are theirs, it's not impossible for a good sent/mara to turn it around on us with some of their CD's. Just gotta figure it out... I can tell you - from personal experience, it can happen.
  9. Too lazy to read through all the pages... I did however read the OP. Why does this seem like a post that was made in the first week of launch? Remember when we could SF twice and still stun once after that? Point is... We've already been nerfed.
  10. Here! I came back in January... All my buddies are involved in another game somewhere. I haven't seen much from the old server, just some from Have a Nice Day that I remember. Welcome back soon? EDIT: PvP is meh.... balance is kinda towards Imp, but about 50/50 in pugs. Don't have a group, so don't know how ranked is.
  11. My only problem with the class is that it feels like the GCD's are off and attacks lag sometimes (not only animations). I have tried this on two different rigs to make sure it wasn't just mine, and got the same results on both. I can blame some of it on my crappy server, but there is something wrong with this class' actions **SOMETIMES**. Overall, I do just fine when I'm Scrappin'. Can almost 1v1 anybody, get by in WZ's. Just find your niche, it will all click after that. Stick to the rotation, know when to use dodge/vanish. It all works out.
  12. The first change to bolster and some of the gear bugs is coming this Tuesday. Whether this guide will be still be relevant after the patch remains to be seen until then. I have no problem with bolster, except that I believe it gives too much. I understand the gear gap, blah, blah. I just don't think it should boost the expertise as much as it does. It should just give the PvE'r a taste of what the stat can do, while not allowing them to get two-shot, and giving them a chance if they have skill. And if they don't like their performance with the PvE gear, it gives them the reason/opportunity to grind out some PvP pieces. Eventually PvP gear will reign supreme in PvP again. Why? Because we'll complain enough and they'll eventually lower bolster just enough to make the PvP gear a goal for anyone who wants to succeed in PvP. Maybe in a ninja fix so everyone who is use to it, doesn't see it until in a WZ.
  13. I'm in full Partisan with about 4 Conq pieces (earpiece, both implants, and chest). I do just fine out there. I lead damage in a lot of matches, even when just doing objectives. Sometimes I don't, and I suck it up... oh well, bad games (or just a better opponent). I don't fully agree that it's a l2p issue, but for some it is. Gear does help though, and this augment bug/bolster balancing issue does not make it easy on us who like a level (or close to) match.
  14. I don't think a lot of people understand this. As an only-PvP-playing subscriber, why do I feel that the only part of the game that I enjoy, is being "care-bear'd". What reward is there for us full time PvP'rs that is on par with the PvE'r player that is a casual PvP'r? I feel like I'm five each time I post in the PvP forums, because we have all posted these things over and over in five different ways, and none of us want to do things the other way.

    lol bolster

Well my personal opinion is the same on this, but from the PvP side... so why can't PvE geared peeps come in without expertise and succeed? Aren't they awesome because of their gear also? PvP isn't getting any buffs if we decide to go do some raiding, but I guess that's okay in the eyes of the PvE community - There is a double standard being applied here, which some of us can tolerate, to a certain extent only. Bolster is good for business, I agree with that. The way I see it is - Sure give the PvE geared guy expertise, but make it somewhere around 'recruit' level. Don't make it confusing to everyone with scaling and all these numbers. Make it simple, flat across the board. If they don't like the way they're performing, they will see the benefits and grind out some PvP pieces. This has already been said so many times by so many people in this thread. I feel like people are just trolling (not you in particular) to annoy us now. just my two cents... old, dirty, used up, the kind nobody picks up when seen on the ground.
  16. On the bright side, lag in PVP is non-existent... ***SARCASM*** I seriously can't get through a WZ right now.
  17. Is it just me, or have we not gotten a yellow post in the PVP section since the patch hit? Do you all think they're avoiding this section of the forums? What's going to be their excuse for not getting any type of response to us?
  18. .... Bump. Can we get a yellow post explaining if this is a bug / known issue?
  19. I just leveled my Cybertech up today, so maybe it was the patch. Only thing that makes sense... And as far as my situation with the mods - I meant they have the same stats. I have since reloaded the game and they (mods) are now showing different. One POWER and the other CRIT. MUST be a BUG.
  20. It appears that the Cybertech Cunning models for level 54 earpieces are duplicates and contain the same stats. Both have: +105 Endurance +105 Cunning +49 Power +46 Alacrity Rating Advanced Tranquility Relay: http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk289/KnightsofArthas/Screenshot_2013-04-16_20_40_23_290641.jpg Advanced Nano Equipped Power Device: http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk289/KnightsofArthas/Screenshot_2013-04-16_20_40_18_275354.jpg Is this a known issue? EDIT: - There appears to be the same issue with the level 53 Mods: Keen Mod 28A and Artful Mod28A. - The level 53 Armorning's appear to be ok. Each has different stats.
  21. I don't have early access. I agree with all comments made along these points. I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot, people wouldn't feel the same way. Please note: I was off playing other games and left TOR for about 9 months. I returned to play a couple days after the early access cut-off. I purchased 1/9/2013 when I returned. It sucks, but it's my own fault. I ignored emails from TOR and didn't think twice. Now we have to wait.
