I've been thinking for a while about how nostalgic this game is for me. I bought and played this game back on release and it was during my coming of age from teen to adult. A lot of the way I see the world today was influenced, in a way, about how neutral the outlook of this game is (ie. both the Republic & Empire can be either good or bad depending on the situation). That got me thinking: how much longer do I have with this experience? It's already been about 10 years. Do you think this MMO will last another 10? Will Disney pull the plug in order to build interest for the next Star Wars MMO (similar to SWG)? I'd like to hear your thoughts. I've paid a fair bit for this game over the years and I always wondered how far my money went to keeping the servers running.
