I payed the exact money , i was not informed by amazon that people who preordered first would get in first.

 

 

Why are there 2 sets of rules being thrown around by BW/EA

 

It's not Amazon's job to get you to read the pre-order FAQ which stated that the amount of early access you got would be based on when you redeemed your code.

 

Let this be a lesson that because you're disappointed you didn't know something about a product, maybe next time you'll do some research before you purchase.

[The Facts]

It was announced on November 4th that Early Access would be staggered, and that not all pre-orders would get the same amount of Early Game Access. Before that, everyone assumed everyone was getting the same amount of Early Game Access, this is a fact.

 

Wrong. It was stated on July 21st, the day the game was first available for pre-order, that your early access time would be based on when you redeemed your pre-order code.

Nice try but you can't cancel your pre-order. It's permanently attached to your account and you'll get early access either way. So...see you in the game.

I wonder if this is the same exclusive vendor as the Collector's edition store or if it is another one?

 

If it is a different vendor then do those with the Collector's edition have access to this as well assuming they use the authenticator included in the box?

 

It's not the same thing. There is a special vendor on the fleet just for security key owners that's accessible by everyone. You just have to buy the keychain version, get it from the CE, or download the mobile phone app which is coming soon.

[Where can I find what date I registered the code?]

This can be found in the 'My Account' tab and then going into the code redemption in the left hand menu.

Your will say something similar detailing which edition you pre-ordered. If you did not register a pre-order code you won't have anything there yet.

There are currently 78 people in the Tython starter area on The Fatman server, according to /who, and it's not instanced yet. I'm not sure what the range is on /who though.

I haven't noticed a difference but I'm also playing on a laptop at work, so I can't check any of the graphics details.

 

So far everything looks the same. A few people running around with no pants, and I'm not sure if Satelle is still 6 inches tall.

[I want a busy starter area]

As the title says... I want (would like) a busy starter area.

 

Now I understand the whole waves thing, I dont agree with it, but hey thats life.

 

However after all the hype and waiting I want to see a mass of people in the starter area I choose. Think of it like Christmas shopping or better still a concert. You'd be pretty dissapointed if you turned up and there was only a dozen other people in the arena !

 

I want the buzz, I want to watch the chatter flashing across the screen, in short... I like busy ! ! !

 

 

 

Currently there is a line of people waiting to free padawans from cages on Tython and a bunch of trolls scrolling the general chat. Sometimes you get what you wish for and it sucks.

A second (or later) wave has already gone out. My friend ordered a few hours after me on the 21st and just got the email an hour ago.

I'm sure this thread aimed at those who DID get into the early access and asking when did they redeem their code. NOT asking the UNINVITED people! Now we have to stroll through TENS of pages to find few people who actually got into the early access!

 

I don't think the OP cares if someone who redeemed his code in NOVEMBER or DECEMBER will get in if some of the July day-one pre-order owners didn't even get in yet!

Got the Early Access email around 7:30am EST today.

 

EDIT: My friend ordered an hour or so after me on July 21st and just got the email at 8:50am. I also got a second email around that time.

 

I originally thought the servers were down, but I forgot to set up my work internet connection and have been been playing for an hour or so. All the servers are listed as "light" population still.

Did you get your pre-order from Best Buy? Because apparently they've been giving out used codes for awhile. You should contact the retailer and if that doesn't work, contact Bioware customer support.

[only CE getting in]

out of 43 friends that ordered the CE only on 21 and submitted 21 jul and 22 jul yes 22 jul have gotten in, all my friends that didnt order the CE but registered on july 21 same day as preorder launch have not gotten in yet. confusing that one who registered on day after but ordered a ce got in already

 

 

is there any non CE that got in yet ?

 

I ordered the standard edition on July 21st and got my early access email this morning at 7:35am EST. Also, the log-in servers are down any way.
