  1. I couldn't agree more. It's preventing me from grouping with guildies, preventing me from going back to complete or repeat (as if) flashpoints or heroics I missed on prior planets. The annoyance of travel is making me ignore content The annoyance of travel is hurting my multiplayer experience I do NOT have an issue with the elapsed *time* involved. I do have an issue with the running (the space station, loading docks) and clicking (elevator, door to ship, chair, map, yes travel to planet, then the reverse) Here's what I did during travel time in another game: * Rearrange bags (actually not available during early years) * Look at gear, determine where I needed upgrades or optimizations * Read quest text * Study world maps * Admire the view * Chat with friends * Make sandwiches * Do dishes Here's what I do in swtor: * Run * Click * Wait * Stare at load screens
  2. While I'm firmly in the "u rushed, u lose" and the "srsly, the game's been out a day" and "what part of a bioware fully-voice story-driven game did you not understand" camps... I too am also a little worried about the possible lack of end-game activities that involve being in non-instanced areas of the world. PVP and flashpoint/operations are multiplayer game activities but they aren't exactly activities that have you out and about in the shared world. Even SWTOR's crafting seems largely about sending your crew off to do it for you (which I'm sure is a huge win for the majority). I'm trying to remember what I did at level cap in That Other Game. There was mostly instancing for gear in order to qualify for more instancing. The only in-world activities I can think of involved gathering materials for crafting, faction grinding or doing dailies for currency. If that proves to be missing from SWTOR the world itself will begin to feel empty even if my game experience doesn't. Whatever, for engaging, self-directed, shared-world activities I'll always have Minecraft.
  3. +1 It seems to me between absent forum search, gimped GTN name search and extremely nonintuitive /who searching that basically Bioware fails at search. Which is a bit baffling.
  4. I enjoy experimenting with specs and also would like to see a cost cap put in place.
