I would do every single literal mission possible before the moment where you are now (and then repeat some missions). Then go back when you have leveled up once or twice. The only solution I would say is to level up on other less hard planets.

If you do want some tanking abilities, but mostly DPS, then what you could do is become a Juggernaught and then put all your points into "Vengeance" skills or "Rage" skills, and then put all the remaining points into "Immortal" skills. Vengeance and Rage are mainly DPS, while Immortal is mainly tanking. You won't be as good of a tank or DPSer if you go that path, but you will be a decent DPSer and a so so tank. If you went Marauder there would be no option to be a tank, but excellent access to being an epic DPSer.
