  1. There is a reason why you can reset your skill points if you don't like the choices you made Reading the guides on the class forums helps a lot though. They are not definite answers, just what people have discovered and found to be working skill sets. There's always the individual factor which affects on which are the best skills for you, like do you want more control over fights or just more damage as an example. It's a bunch of compromises in the end.
  2. That simply does not exist. The makers want to leave these decisions up to players.
  3. Well so far I've seen him just answering people that they're wrong and he's right when people try to educate him. Asking things when you don't know is one thing, telling everyone else they're wrong is another.
  4. Yes. Replacing barrel or hilt of a weapon gives you the direct stat bonuses on said barrel/hilt, increases the dmg range of the weapon and increases force/tech power on it. Similarly replacing armor mod on armoring gives you the direct stats on the armor mod and increases the armor value of the item.
  5. The tech power, or force power for force weapons, is based on the hilt/barrel of the weapon. Orange items don't have stats of their own, with the exception of armor type (light/medium/heavy) being a multiplier on armor value.
  6. Current lvl50 dailies are on Ilum, Belsavis and Fleet for pvp & flashpoints. To access Belsavis dailies you need to finish the Belsavis bonus series and for Ilum dailies the Ilum series. Bonus series on other planets are not necessary to access these.
  7. I believe he means the daily heroic4 quest on Belsavis which rewards you with orange companion weapons with blue lvl50 mods on them.
  8. It doesn't mean you need to finish every bonus series on every planet but I believe you do indeed need to finish the whole Belsavis bonus series before you can do the dailies there.
  9. Currently no, sometime in the future possibly yes with a likely pricetag attached on it. At the moment if you wish to play on another server you need to start from lvl1 over there.
  10. I see quite frequently single player shouting for lf3m (or any variation like lfm tank + healer + dps) which basically means he's taking the job of actually forming (and leading) a group instead of just being another one shouting for others to invite him into a group. The lfg people on the other hand can be insanely passive, you can see a nice group of tank, healer and couple of dps lfg in /general for minutes and none of them makes the first move to form a group which obviously is there.
  11. Purple color crystals are actually one of the cheapest ones sold on that vendor while having same stats as some more expensive ones and cost 125k which is hardly difficult to come by even at mid-levels unless you spend all your credits on leveling crew skills. In such case it's about setting your priorities. What you need to understand is games like this require money sinks, items that do not necessarily even provide benefit over other players but are still desirable and remove currency from the game preventing inflation. Without such items or other ways to spend money the new players would be complaining about every basic player sold thing costing too much since all the older players have the money to buy it even at such higher price and thus the marketprice would be set high. Color crystals for 2.5million with actually inferior stats compared to lower priced ones are money sink in its very basic meaning.
  12. I think anything having more rage than pvp forums would cause universe to collapse.
  13. Some skills will also provide a boost of couple of percentage on your main stat.
  14. Right click is your basic attack as long as you have that basic attack on slot1 of your action bar. If you put somethign that requires rage in that slot then you're trying to use that ability when you right click. So, if you wish to use right click as your basic attack you need to put your basic rage generating attack on slot1 of your action bar.
  15. You can buy that from a crew skill vendor, he's usually located near the crew skill trainers.
  16. When you pick item to craft it has a dot on it's right side. Gray means it won't give you skill up, green means 1 point, yellow 1 or 2 and orange 2. For missions I think the name of the mission is in the color, I'm not by the game at the moment and checking it's so automatic for me that I don't actually even remember for sure. All of your missions in the highest bracket open to you should be either green, yellow or orange, the second highest one will contain also gray ones and below that everything will most likely be gray.
  17. Are you crafting things that are marked with green, yellow or orange dot beside them? Same for scavenging missions.
  18. Orange - has slots that have modifications which give the armor its stats. Modifications can be replaced to change stats so you don't need to replace whole item if you want to upgrade it. Green - Most common type of item with stats besides just armor value. Blue - blue item of same level as green has more/better stats. Purple - purple item of same level as blue has more/better stats. In some cases it might be partially modifiable like orange item.
  19. My suggestion would be to get a group for it as dps. Maybe do it with your friends, I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing it bit faster with you.
  20. Imperial one is on the corridor when entering one of the quarters as well, can't remember which one though.
  21. You'll most certainly receive varying answers for the "need" part since there isn't any enforced rule considering it. Personally (and I believe I belong to majority on this) I consider any actual player being priority over companions but there are people who disagree with this and consider their companion being as entitled to loot as other players. In any case, talk with your group and agree on looting terms, that's the best way to make sure everyone stands on same ground. You'll be getting companion gear as rewards occassionally throughout whole leveling process, once you get more companions you can't keep them all up to date on gear with just those though but enough to keep one or two decently equipped. Add random drops and they should be fine gear wise.
  22. It's bugged and doesn't show up on map. I found this map from another thread asking the same, it should help you find it.
  23. 1. You can keep them in your storage in ship. 2. If you mean the crystals found with archeology, you need Artifice to craft lightsaber color crystals of them.
