  1. Ran an EV Hard Mode last night and realized that the mount token dropped by Soa says Desler Avenger (with 1 's'), but after using the token it shows up as Dessler Avenger (with 2 's').

Because of this, when you loot Soa and see it in the list, it is not 'greyed' out if you already have it.

  2. There's a ton of them in the TorHead database, but I can't find one for love or money.

    AAAAAARGH!

Just because it's on Torhead, doesn't mean it's actually in the game. They get their info from datamining the gamefiles, but there are often items in the files that are not actually in the game.

Don't know if that's the case for what you are looking for, but it could very well be possible.

  3. Actually, this is sort of how it is going to work! The problem we run into with just sending a rename token is where do we send it? Let's say you have characters on multiple servers, how could we know which server you want the character rename on? If everyone only played on one server, it would be a bit simpler.

Add the token as an unclaimed item in the Cartel Market. That is account wide and can only be claimed once.

  4. I haven't found the ability to do that. When I open all of the action bars, I get three vertical to either side, the inner most of which I deactivate, and two horizontal on the bottom of the screen.

When you are in Interface Editor mode (click the little "+" icon on your quickbar) select one of the vertical hotbars on the side and in the options you can resize it to horizontal and drag it wherever you want it.

  5. I hate were the chat window is and would love to move it.

The chat window can already be moved, just not through the interface editor. Just left click on the first tab and drag the window wherever you want. This was the only part of the UI that could be changed before the interface editor was added. Making that movable when you are in edit mode would be nice though.

  6. Suppose you turn around and sell it after paying for it. So long as you bought it from the cartel market, I can't see why this matters to BW. I can understand if you bought it as a GTN resale, but if you used the CM, BW already got the money. So long as you can't duplicate items bought off the GTN or received as a trade (something I would think BW should be able to distinguish), I don't see the issue.

Because it wouldn't be right to allow someone to buy an item on the CM, sell it (GTN, or direct trade) allowing someone else to use that item and also be able to make more copies for themselves. You have to either use an item for yourself or sell it, you can't have it both ways.

  7. Are you *********** kidding me?

So, you can't tell by your records that I bought a set. I have to have equipped every single piece? What the hell? I can see on my damn Cartel Coins page that I've made the purchases. I can see Life Day Robe right there. But because I sold the skirt piece it's not part of my Collection?

You people are either morons or ******es. Which is it?

Of course it has to be bound to you first. Do you expect them to allow you to make copies of something that you may have sold on the GTN after buying from the Cartel Market?

So you bought the Life Day Robe. Sure, they can see that, but unless it was equipped and bound to you, then they don't know that you didn't just sell it.

  8. They are purchasing access to the credits they have earned over their credit cap.

F2P and Preferred players have a cap on the amount of credits they have access to in-game. Any credits earned over that cap goes into escrow. If they then subscribe, they get access to all the credits in escrow. Now they have the ability to transfer portions of their escrow amount.

These are still credits they have earned through playing the game, though, not free.

  9. If you have already equipped it on a character then it is bound to that character and can't be sent to anyone else. If you just bought it and haven't actually equipped it, then there should be a timer running on the item. Once that expires, you can send it to an alt.
  10. This always seems to happen to me when I click on a link from Google that is directed at the SWTOR forums.

That would make sense. The links probably have the language in the url. If you click the FR or DE buttons at the top of the page, you can see the url adds /fr or /de after the swtor.com. This sets the language for the page layout. As mentioned, clicking the EN link will set it back to English.

  11. Hi,

Does it cst less to modify items at the modification stations or what is the point of them?

    Thanks

The cost is the same. The only thing you currently need the mod table for is to add an augment slot to an item.

Originally in beta, the tables were the only way you could add mods to gear. This changed late in the beta but the tables were not removed from the game. When augment kits were added to the game they made it required to use the tables to add the slot so they had a unique use once again.

  12. These are the things I could think of that would cause him to get so many mails when he starts a new character:

    1. Collector's Edition/DDE items

    2. Founder Title

    3. Pre-order Bonus crystal

    4. 1.2 Legacy Tauntaun pet

    5. Party Jawa

    6. Hero's Banner

    7. Razer naga color crystal (unsure if this one comes in a mail or not)

The refer a friend mount would be another.

  13. Disney did buy out Marvel Entertainment and gave us the wonderful Advenger, Iron-Man, and the new Spiderman movies, which I thought were great.

Spider-Man was Sony, not Disney, but it's still a good point. They way they have handled the Marvel franchise gives me a much better feeling than this would have if it had happened 5 years ago.
