  1. Thanks for your responses guys. So I take it that there was mention of it in the past but nothing came of it and nothing has been mentioned of it since. Your workaround methods are appreciated.
  2. Saving Action Bar Loadouts per proficiency choice no longer a thing? Seems like long ago something like this was said to be a high priority. Did the positive opinion on it get squashed or forgotten?
  3. Rewarding dominance for time spent is the system we have, but I agree that there could be better ways to do it when players are competing with each other. As an example. I like playing Call of Duty. That game asks nothing of me really. I don't have to spend days grinding awesome gear. I can login and kill you dead as easily as you can kill me. As long as I am skilled enough to do it. The rewards are the thrill of the fight and trying to build good kill/death ratio's etc. You don't need gear in that kind of system to have fun. And there is no reason why a game like WoW/Swtor etc. couldn't find a successful adaptation of that concept to put into their PvP without harming the PvE game. my opinion
  4. I was not advocating that BW should do that. I was commenting on what would have to occur for total equality in Warzones. But, since you mentioned PvE. Last time I checked, I didn't hear any NPC mobs complaining about imbalances when they are competing against us humans in this game. I suppose when that happens, we can worry about equalizing their stats with ours so they don't feel disadvantaged.
  5. For absolute equality BW would have to make gear have no effect on Warzones at all. When you load in, you have 'x' amount of all your stats, and so does everyone else adjusted of course for what class you are. No variances whatsoever Then use your commendations for gear that you can use in other parts of the game. The only thing your gear would do for you in a Warzone would be alter your appearance. Then the only thing determining your success in PvP is your skill. Of course, out of Warzones, that would be a different story.
  6. Just look at the forum gripes about PvP loot bags not dropping what pieces people need. Many get lucky and fill all thier slots fast. Many others get multiples of the same pieces over and over. Which may take multiple weeks to get lucky, who knows. I bet many PvE'rs would also luck out and get all of their set sometimes with lucky loots in a week and some not as well.
  7. I just posted this in another 'expertise' thread that is already on a different page after posting so I'll just put it here too. Other than the "exclusivity" of being %10 better at any given PvE/PvP activity in this game; why do we need any special stats at all? Want to join my pre-made? How much expertise you got? Want to join my raid? How much (PvE stat) you got? You know people are going to do it. I've seen it in other games. Denied because you didn't spend most of your time on whatever activity. Although, if players were rewarded with equally strong gear from either PvP or PvE, everyone can enjoy whatever aspect of the game they want to at any time as long as he/she has earned the gear. I personally enjoy both, and it would be great if I could effectively mix my PvE and PvP gear without worrying about my 'special' stat. Instead I can play whichever part of the game I want each day and have a chance to get an upgrade. So no more PvP geared people owning PvE players because of "expertise". No more Raid geared players "blowing" people up in Warzones because they are decked in Raid gear. Why? Everyone has access to the same strength of gear. Just spend time enjoying the game however you please and it will come to you. Top end PvP gear already comes in those random loot bags so its not always a 'sure' thing. Just like looting a Raid boss. Let your victories come because you are a good player and not because of a 'special' stat on your gear. my opinion my opinion
