  1. As the title says. Either separate all of the maps so that we can sign up for the ones we want to play like Alderaan or just separate them from Arenas. At the very least, please get rid of arenas for unranked PvP. It is not fun. I'm frustrated and fed up with losing games due to lopsided matches, random comps, uneven teams. I ran 5 so far this morning in between Warzones and out of those 5...2 were with uneven teams (us with 3 players and them with 4). I suppose I should just start to auto-leave them.
  2. I kind of see what you're saying now. I would be alright with certain triggers being in place for different adversaries. A Smuggler or Bounty Hunter bringing back up is just smart planning in my opinion. If a Jedi wants to go it alone due to some belief that he is untouchable then so be it. But, here is an example from the Prequels. Anakin and Kenobi go to fight Tyranus, both are recognized as very powerful in their own right, but they get stomped by the Darth and need Yoda's help to force a draw. So even powerful Force users with ''great potential'' can't always go it alone. Heck even in the game when you face the final boss you have your companion there helping you along. But, to try and steer this back into relevancy...I'm stuck in a 3-way tie now after replaying certain companion interactions. Ashara, Vette, and Risha. I honestly can't decide. I think Ashara as a full fledged Knight would be cool. Risha because I really like the dry humor that she has. Vette, for oh so many reasons.
  3. It isn't outside the realm of possibility for a Heroic character to rise above and beyond what others would consider their ''maximum'' potential. And this isn't Dragon Ball Z, assigning people power levels doesn't really work for Star Wars. Revan despite being very powerful in the Force is still human and will still die to a well placed blaster shot. I know this is a bit oversimplified but I think it gets the point across. I'm starting to think that you want Jedi/Sith to be above everything and everyone, but you should realize that they rise and fall as easily as the next guy. There are plenty of examples in the fluff of ''regular'' aces besting Force users in dog fights, Boba had a nice collection of lightsabers, the list goes on. But I also think you're missing something vital. When you play as the Outlander, that is YOUR story. There aren't a bunch of Outlanders running around killing the same bad guys that you are in YOUR story. Every other player character you run into during the game is just that...another guy. You on the other hand are THE GUY. They aren't in your storyline diminishing your accomplishments, they don't factor in. It is YOU, your alliance, and that is it. As an aside, I actually like the Consular story a bit above the rest due to the simple fact that he doesn't face down the ''big bad'' like the Knight does or his Sith counterparts. He fights and bests, granted a Jedi Master, but by that time in the story it isn't farfetched that the PC would be strong enough. But, honestly, that is all the the First Son is...just a Jedi master being mind controlled. Nothing super special. And what do you mean ''less and less''? Seems like we are finally getting what everyone has been clamoring for this entire time. Yeah its condensed into a singular plot, which I still believe will have ample room for replayability given the hints that BW keeps dropping. Companions able to be killed off, betrayed, recruited from other classes. How is this less? This is D&D with plasma swords and spaceships...some suspension of disbelief is kind of required man. I hope I'm not being overly confrontational about this, I'm just trying to understand why you feel the way you do.
  4. A unified story may not be such a downer if it ends up being well fleshed out with enough class flavor to make it at least seem "unique". But given that we make our alliance how we see fit there is potential for 2 people's playthroughs being vastly different. Please stop being such a downer and try smiling for a change.
  5. Two of them are former Imperials though haha.
  6. Does it really matter? This is a thread to see who people would pick and why. No one knows if we will be able to mix and match companions from different classes yet. But on the off- chance its possible I was curious to see who the most popular ones were. Some of the wording hints at the possibility of a hodgepodge approach. Anywho thanks for the bump.
  7. You don't find a single female companion interesting even in the slightest? None of their stories or personalities drew you in at all? I just find that...different.
  8. How very definitive of you given that we all know very little of BioWare's implementation of features concerning the expansion. I would suggest amending your initial post to reflect that these are your concerns since neither you nor I nor the majority know enough to claim that something is a "problem".
  9. I actually have to amend my initial choice, I think I would actually have to go with Ashara Zavros. She is awesome and makes a lot more sense for my Consular.
  10. Seems like Vette is the frontrunner so far.
  11. Ashara Zavros would be the ideal choice. Her personality, looks, and story all appeal to me.
  12. ...would you prefer to be able to recruit in the expansion if you could only have one? Edit: And please explain why.
  13. Make it so BioWare, and I will pay you!!! My one small tiny hope for the expansion.
