  1. So I've been playing off and on since the closed beta, and unfortunately, I'm one of those wierdo's who is adaptive not pro-active, when it comes to customizing gaming UI's. If I knew any of you, and came over to visit, I could very easily sit down in front of your PC and with a few minutes to familiarize myself with your UI I could be playing quite easily. Maybe not as good as you, but well enough I could handle doing pvp or most flashpoints, possibly even ops. Anyways, so yeah I'm an adaptive and so trying to come up with my own placement, and for that matter keybinding is just terrible on me. I constantly tweak, and adjust, always feeling there is room for improvement. In particularly, I know there is an area I'm weak on, and that's duplicating my main action bars. E through Shift-Space, is the problem because it's duplicated as shown in the action bar hovering across my character. I'm just looking for advice on how I can split up everything. I've already been assigning each keybind to a particular need, except that I've recently gone from entirely non-stealth, to enjoying stealthies and not having a proper "stealth stuff goes here" zone alloted. Guess I'm just looking for sorting advice, hopefully in such a manner that I can take the advice and globally apply it.   2. Thanks for that response about getting orange moddable gear @ 28. Main Stats is Aim & Cunning. If you hover over those stats, they both give roughly equal bonus and to the same things. So you can equip him like a Mercenary OR Sniper, and he'll be amazing. Gifts: LOVES: Weapons LIKES: Technology & Military gear. everything else = doesnt care.
  3. As long as he comes with his named orange moddable, I don't care what level the mods are... that's the only thing I'm trying to find out. Having played since Founding/Beta, I've got maxed crafters so I'll just make replacement armorings and such. But if he doesn't come with the moddable @ lvl 10, it defeats the point.
  4. Has anyone already bought him on a low level alt, and does he come with orange moddable gear? Took me about 4 hours to clear the questline and unlock him, got full orange gear with Tionese level mods (blue not purple though), but I'm against paying my CC (or 1mil credits) for every alt, if he doesn't come with at least his moddable orange gear. Particularly since my 400 cybertech does not have many moddable droid armor schematics, it would really suck that "yeah I got HK @ lvl 1(0)! NOOO he's naked, and will suck forever."

Unbuffed stats: Aim: 1581 Endurance: 1842 Health: 21,131 Armor: 8394 (43.73%) Damage Red: 52.73% Defense: 9.68% (76 def rating) Shield: 48.28% (412 rating) Absorb 57.09% (483 rating) Since MM's spreadsheet is no longer current, or at least I can't get an accurate working out of it, I place myself before the masses for improvement suggestions.
  6. in my opinion, screw the shield generators. Until/Unless a shield generator comes along that has more than the standard shield stats, we're better off handling dual weapons. And just let the shield/power generators be "built" into our armor or something. Programming is already there for mercenaries and gunslingers to have 2 visible (and ever changing) guns, just needs to be expanded so everyone else has a visible secondary. When an IA/Trooper, or other single wield class enters a cutscene (particularly class quest cutscene) they are automatically given the same pistol they've used since Tython/Hutta, even when you're class quest is currently on Voss/Belsavis/ilum. Other than potentially screwing over the dual-pistol classes, which could be off-set by making their pistols stay as current, while only everyone else's would only change from "knife" icon to pistol. So mechanics wise nothing would change, graphically we would all get our pistol on hip that changes as we progress. This would seem to generally meet everyone's desire. Everyone gets at least a graphic sidearm, Bounty Hunters may get blaster rifle sidearms (and be the same as Troopers, or staying Imperial Pierce anyone? Seriously, Pierce is more of a bad*** than any Powertech ESPECIALLY with his stock armor look)
  7. some of the problems with the proposed f2p model is that anyone with even half a brain knows that what any f2p mmorpg game (korean or otherwise) is far superior to the castrated, version SWTOR will become. Inability to even do daily pvp/fp missions for more than 1-2 days ZERO contribution to p2p folks @ 50, and minimal contribution to levelling p2p (Flashpoint/Warzone queues arent gonna change THAT much) And yeah, f2p shouldn't be getting everything we (subbers) currently have, but they sure as hell aren't gonna want to stick around with the castration, since any other mmorpg offers them far more base features, AND offers pay-to-win content (such as the exp boosts, faster travel, outright purchasing of end-game equipment, etc) Loathe as I am to say it.... Runescape has been doing the free-to-play, pay-to-win for years. Given that I'm really an altoholic, and that my current PC drops a deuce everytime I load 1 client of SWTOR, but easily permits upto TWENTY EVE: Online accounts.... let's see, lag during loading for SWTOR Flashpoints and get kicked out and be paying real cash (subscription or flashpoint permit pass), or go multi-box 20 eve online accounts, and occasionally rolling some new alt to mess around and solo missions.
  8. ^ this. Even at 50, you can only send 5 companions out to craft, leaving you one companion who's either standing around stupidly on the ship, or humping your leg waiting for you to leave fleet. Sending a lvl 50 companion down to a lower alt would be pretty awesome. An example, Bounty Hunters generally unlock Mako's (leave the ship) quest by around 25-30, but your targets are nearly 40. Solution? Screw 'em, I'm bringing HK to whoop em. No more begging guildies/random people on planet to help (provided you have a 50 that unlocked HK anyways)
  9. /signed Despite having 3x full 50s, (2x Columi or better, 1x Tionese) and a newly 47 that's just started running dailies, it's kind of annoying to have to keep mailing low alts cash for things I may want (mostly Legacy gear). For the low time frame of maybe 1-2 hours, per daily runner, you make 300k an alt, only running Belsavis (full clear), Ilum (Poisonous Strat), and Blackhole (full clear). Run with a group, it takes an hour tops. Run with a group that also goes and does random HM fp, then pvp/space missions for the low time investment of 3 hours you make 500-750k easy. OTOH, prices are pretty ridiculous. Outside of legacy transport to capital world & blackhole, I virtually never buy anything else, unless its a global unlock. And I flatly refuse to touch the GTN ship access, regardless of how much I make a day. Legacy 40-50 should be getting the GTN practically for free....
