  1. The confirmation dialogue introduced in 1.1.3 was a good change to prevent players from accidentally spending large sums of currency on items that they don't want; however, with this change, players are now prompted for every single PvP item purchase, including the expertise adrenal and medpac. Both of those items are frequently bulk-purchases. To buy a stack of 20 PvP adrenals might've taken only 5 seconds previously, now takes 20 seconds. The confirmation in this case is unnecessary, as those items only cost 10 commendations, not a significant purchase at all. Please remove the dialogue for adrenals and medpac!
  2. That is probably your main problem. Get all stalker gear. If you like the survivor set bonus, just pull out the mods from stalker and put them in survivor pieces.
  3. If people got that left is left of spawn 99% of the time, there wouldn't be so much confusion What about this: What if someone calls "left inc stealth"? You won't be able to deduce it like that
  4. It's true that not everyone will understand the implicit directions on the map, but anyone who has read a map in real life will understand that in the absence of a printed compass, the top edge of a map is north. Since east/west has connection to real life objects, it's much more likely for people to get the correct direction the first time, without any sort of explanation. How likely do you think it is for someone who just stepped into his/her first warzone game to get that "left" means "to the left of you from spawn, and only if you face outward from the spawn"? You only think it's simple because you've been thinking like that for a while now. And again, left/right is only easy to process for someone who's running out from the spawn location. For anyone who's standing anywhere else, they first have to think in terms of the spawn location, in order to determine which way is "left". With east/west, you just have to look at the minimap.
  5. If you will take it upon yourself to explain this unwritten rule to every person on your server, and to any new players who join the server, AND have everyone agree that this is the one true rule, THEN this method is valid. Also, you're not only telling people who had just respawned the location to reinforce; a lot of times you will need help from people who are standing at places other than the spawn. When they read "left" or "right", they have to first imagine themselves standing at spawn, in order to determine which direction is "left".
  6. Can't tell if serious. Do you even realize what you just said? YES, your left will always be to the left of where you're looking, regardless of what direction you're facing. THAT is why left/right should not be used for calling incs, BECAUSE if you ask everyone in the warzone to point to their left with their hand, no one will be pointing at the same direction. East/west are universal, as they are directions on the map, which is static. The fact that left/right advocates even have to explain to people that it's left/right to spawn or to map means it's an impractical way to call incs. Use a method that everyone (who has at least graduated elementary school) understands without explanation.
  7. I haven't had a chance to login to test this out yet, but I can understand why this change was a bad idea if true. Spinning strike is situational, as it requires the target to be <30% health. Unless you keep your eyes glued to the health % displayed at the bottom bar, most of us just execute spinning strike by roughly eyeing the health bar floating on top of the target. Now, with this change (haven't confirmed it myself), you may not be able to tell if your spinning strike has gone off or not if you look for the animation. e.g. if you execute at 31%, thinking the target has <30%, spinning strike won't go off, and you won't be able to tell unless you check the CD.
  8. Yes, buy 5 champ bags then save up to 1000/1000 again to spend after you hit lvl 50. Rakata gear comes from hardmode/nightmare ops, and Battlemaster gear comes after you hit rank 60 valor.
  9. It would be nice to have warzones that prevent players from purposely queuing up more than 8 players on a team. I think it's a desirable feature to not have games where 11 players are allowed to just steamroll over the opposing team that has a supposed maximum team size of 8. It would also be nice for BW to recognize that this is in fact an easily reproducible exploit, and take account actions on players who have taken advantage of this bug to gain countless easy warzone wins. Thanks.
  10. She/her voice actress tries too hard to sound sexy, IMO.
  11. Just a small suggestion: Might want to add a /Y parameter to the COPY commands in the junction script to silence the overwrite prompt. Alternatively, add delete commands to remove the asset files on the ramdrive in the junction reversal script. This allows you to run the junction script again after running the reversal script, as the original scripts would stop at the copy because the asset files already exist on the ramdrive.
  12. The exploit would still allow them to trigger the automatic warzone shutdown due to team imbalance. This is the bigger issue imo, as they're able to get a super quick win if they can achieve victory condition or tie-breaker condition before the timer expires.
  13. If you mount from an image, should you then update the image (i.e. save again) every time the game gets patched? So that the asset files are up-to-date?
  14. Would that script work the second time after rebooting? Should we instead manually rename the asset files to have _ORIG suffix first, then have the script copy the files to ramdrive? Or I'm misunderstanding how the whole thing works.
