You realise that it was told in this post like 4 times madness has the highest passive DR from any dps spec

    tbh I really don't

Madness: 15(5*3)% for 10s after dealing critical damage with DoTs, ~3.5% against Kinetic/Energy while Resurgence is active =18.5%
Lightning: 15(5*3)% for 10s after dealing damage with Lightning Bolt, 5% for 18s from after dealing damage with TB =20%
Deception: 15% for 15s after leaving stealth or activating Maul, 9(3*3)% for 15s after dealing critical damage =24%

  2. Character UI is just...I have to close my chat window in order to interact with the thing because it overlaps every corner of the screen.

    Same

Whose bright idea was it to slap the INVENTORY into the character sheet and hide our STATS behind a click and a scrollbar?

I need to see my STATS with a single glance when I open my sheet. I have zero need to see my inventory when inspecting my character. And if I need to see my inventory, I can simply open it from its own button!

The new character sheet is the epitome of UN-informativeness.

    Agreed

  3. * Why does my female bounty hunter have a beard and mustache? I wouldn't mind if a couple of complexions were cross-gender, but 16 of them (29% of available options) is just too much.

    * Get rid of the red lighting on the Imperial characters during creation. It significantly changes how our skin and hair colors look when we get into the game, leading to major disappointment and frustration. Also ditch the blue lighting for Republic characters. Light in the background is fine, just don't let it affect the character model.

    * I'd like to be able to zoom in little tighter on the face and hair. It's hard to see some scars, etc.

    * I wish Complexion was a different slider than eyebrows. Some really nice complexions have strange eyebrows and vice versa.

I found it hard to distinguish between eye colors because the zoom does not get in close enough to the face.

    I agree.

  4. General:

Unmatched Haste and Gathering Storm legendaries are the only choice. These bonuses are the Gathering Storm set on live server. This is one of the worst sets. Why? Because with this set Sage in DD spec must choose the utilities which reduces CD of Mental Alacrity (MA) and Force Speed (FS) only. And I always have to use FS not as a mobile ability (this is the only mobile ability), but as a damaging buff ability. Yes, maybe this is good for damage, but this is the worst solution for mobility, other classes are not forced to use mobile abilities to improve damage, why are we? As for MA, there's only one spec has bonuses for this ability, so this spec will be buffed better than others.

This. Bioware, find an ability other than Force Speed to proc stuff so I can have my mobility spell back for mobility. It's also favors TK/Lightning over Balance/Madness, why?

  5. For all specs:

Conspiring Force. level 78. Maybe replace it with 30% AOE damage reduction? Merge Conspiring Force with Slow Mercy tactical.

    Madness:

    Creeping End. level 43:

Applying Creeping Terror reduces the cooldown of Recklessness by 2 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 5 seconds.

I don't get it. Replace it with some real burst option like(this is based on an old set bonuses and passives)

"Recklessness have a 33% chance to not consume a charge when a direct Force ability deals critical damage. Increases Recklessness charges by 1"

    or

"Affliction's critical hits have a 100% chance to grant Lightning Barrage, increased the damage deal by your next Force Lightning by 30%. This effect cannot occur more than once every 20 seconds."

Creeping End for burst, Eternal Torment for cleave and Downfall for sustained DPS. Simple design.

    Lightning

Off Balance. level 43. Lightning already have too much roots, slows and mobility. AOE root and slow from Chain Lightning, slow from Lightning Bolt.

  6. VG items are decent, but I'm worried about one (in terms of PVP) - the Supercommando Package. Essentially, it gives 3 seconds of invulnerability - which is nice, however, since almost all classes lose some of their DCD's and VG doesn't, this ability may just make DPS specs a bit overpowered. Would be great if it was locked for tank spec only.

Agreed. 3 seconds of invulnerability is too much for 7.0 AP PT even if it comes with tank stats

    Legendary Items Feedback

Generic +3% Legendary Items are boring. Use your imagination, Bioware.

  7. Are there any other old set bonuses you'd like to see on Legendaries?

    Old Empowered Restorer

Force Armor / Static Barrier immediately heals the target when applied and leaves a heal over time on the target for 12 seconds after being applied.

  8. Are there any other old set bonuses you'd like to see on Legendaries?

Shifting Silhouette. Using Phase Walk to return to its marked location grants Shifting Silhouette, keeping you from being leapt to or pulled and making you immune to interrupts and ability activation pushback for the next 10 seconds. Additionally, the cooldown of Phase Walk is reduced by 15 seconds and all defenses are increased by 30% for the duration of Shifting Silhouette.

Any of the unreleased 5.6 set bonuses

    • Unnatural Preservation and Force Mend now additionally heal up to 8 allies within 30 meters affected by your Resurgence or Revivification and Rejuvenate or Salvation for 70% of its full healing.
    • Recklessness and Force Potency have a 33% chance to not consume a charge when a direct Force ability deals critical damage. Additionally, consuming a charge of Recklessness or Force Potency reduces the cooldown of Polarity Shift and Mental Alacrity by 5 seconds.
    • Recklessness and Force Potency grant Mender’s Surge, causing your next Innervate or Healing Trance to heal instantly and cost no Force.
    • Overcharge Saber and Battle Readiness additionally increase your critical chance by 15% while active. Additionally, the cooldown of Overcharge Saber and Battle Readiness is reduced by 20 seconds.
    • Dealing critical damage with Discharge or Force Breach grants Pursuer’s Lethality, making your next Discharge or Force Breach deal 50% additional damage instantly.
    • Each time you lose a charge of Dark Ward or Kinetic Ward you have a 40% chance to restore 1% of your maximum health. This effect cannot occur more than once a second.
    • Dealing damage with Depredating Volts or Cascading Debris reduces the cooldown of Deflection by 1 second. Additionally, Deflection increases the damage dealt by Depredating Volts and Cascading Debris by 20% while active.

      ect

  9. Whirlwind/Force Lift. Level 73. Merge it with Dizzying Force(when Whirlwind/Force Lift ends, target's accuracy is reduced by 20% for 8 seconds)

Forbidden Knowledge. Level 27. Duration of the stacks is too short.

Death Brand. Level 27. Still feels too weak

Overall, I'm really like sorc/sage changes and tree chooses.

  10. I also don't like how Force Speed is integrated into both of those effects where you have to use Force Speed to gain the damage boost on an individual ability and reduce the cooldown of Polarity Shift. This is also a problem for Eyrin's Haste. All of these effects promote bad habits with using Force Speed. You don't always want to use it on cooldown, sometimes you need to save it.

I would prefer if Force Speed were removed entirely from these effects where Polarity Shift just got a flat cooldown reduction and the damage increase was only 10% but applied only to every single Thundering Blast and Death Field or Force Leech. I guess you could also link all of this stuff to Affliction ticks as well, like high chance on a rate limit. Yeah, it's less flashy, but it causes less problems.

    Totally agree

  11. Do you feel there's a good mix of options for each combat style?

It doesn't look like a good mix of options, just "default" bonuses we use now and some others we mostly ignored in 6.n and will ignore in 7.0. E.g., as a TK sage I don't see any reason to use anything but Gathering storm and Haste package

Normally when there is a new expansion we get new set bonuses and it shakes up the meta a bit

This^ Most of Legendary Items are useless and created just for the illusion of choice. Give us something new.

  12. Does one stand out as a clear best or not so great?

Unmatched Haste. Seriously, it's the only real option we have right now.

Do you feel there's a good mix of options for each combat style?

There isn't one Legendary item that makes sense with Madness playstyle and combat style passives. Unmatched Haste is the best option at the moment, but it suites Lightning a lot more. Same for Gathering Storm and Revitalize Legendary items.

  13. I may suggest, slightly different. Have all of the Legendary items (Implants) have a version for each alac, accuracy, and critical. This way someone can not only choose the Legendary bonus they want, but also allow for the correct stats on that item.

    Even better

  14. Finish them - shock finishes all active DoTs on the target and deals their damage at once - similar to operative and sniper tacticals.

Fun but Shock's cooldown should be reset if the target is killed within x seconds

    This, plus stacks of wrath

Critical movement - if creeping terror's initial hit crits, the cd of force speed is reduced by 3 seconds. Fishing for crits to reduce force speed cooldown isn't great.

Creeping end - applying creeping terror once per 5 seconds reduces recklessness's cooldown by 2 seconds.

I really really hate the direction that has been chosen for creeping terror. It is a 18 second long DoT, yet this passive makes you want to spam it every 5 seconds - effectively neutering your DPS, just for a couple seconds of recklessness cooldown? Instead, creeping terror crits should reduce recklessness's cooldown by the same amount.

    Agreed

Overwhelming force - a 25% chance to cause an auto crit on a dot ability isn't great. You don't use lightning strike enough for it to matter, and you don't use shock in your rotation at all - so this ability is counter intuitive and has no real place in the rotation outside a 1 in 4 chance your next demolish does slightly more damage - an ability you use once per rotation. The focus of this passive could instead be on the Wrath stacks generated by force lightning, with each stack granting a 25% increased crit hit chance for one of your abilities (stacking 4 times) - essentially granting you an auto crit similar to how thundering blast auto crits targets with affliction.

    +1

  15. Madness choices

Death Brand(10) It's not that impressive. Increase the critical damage bonus of Death Brand by 20-30% via discipline.

Overloaded Strike(20) I don't get it. Overloaded Strike doesn't have any procs or discipline passives associated with it. Force Storm is way better for AOE.

Overhelming Force(35) Why Shock and Lightning Strike and why it's only 25%? Doesn't make any sense, any of it. Replace it with Affliction or something. Maybe also merge it with a Ticking Force Bomb(it's useless tactical anyway).

Volt Rush(70) LOL. I see no reason why would anyone ever pick this. Merge it with Endless Offensive(Volt Rush deals 10% more damage, Energize now stack up to 3 times, Force Speed recharges two VR charges), buff The Rushdown tactical(should also increase the critical chance of Volt Rush by 100% Powerlode-style). Right now it's 2000% useless.

Extrication(70) Merge it with a Healing Hand(tactical) and/or 3.x era unreleased sorc set-bonus(Extrication places a Static Barrier on the target even if the target already has the Deionized effect).

    Madness baseline

Force Storm should build stacks of Wrath and Fulminating Current. No more Force Lightning in pure AOE situations.

    Overall again playability seems fine.
