Has anyone confirmed the existence of these yet? I really don't want to try reaching for them and burn the artifact mats if they didn't make it in to release. Edit: For everyone else, preliminary answer seems to be yes, but only through a crafting critical on an Advanced tier modification.

I actually liked this guy, despite him pulling one over on me. My general impression of him was "Wow, this guy is pretty classy."

So it's been tossed around lately that Riposte isn't worth it, and that slash is, in fact, better, despite it being off the GCD. I'm a little confused by this. Couldn't you just use Riposte and have your skill usage be Strike rather than Slash, or a net usage of the same number of GCDs and only one focus lost for a better net damage? Also, Riposte can't miss, or be dodged, or be parried. Did I miss something here?

Presumably? It's the 1 GCD 1 focus Blade Rush spam from Zen combined with autocrit 2 focus Blade Storms. Edit: You don't get to play with Combat's really shiny toys until 40+ though. =(

Your maintenance folks must be gods. I don't think i've ever seen servers come up at exactly the designated time.
