  1. If you're the one getting kicked, haha, my turn to use this, L2P. In no way were the comps better than a player that isn't terrible. They still stand in fail and probably always will. If tactical FP's were tuned to the level they were pre-xpac, no one would consider using a comp.
  2. Are comps now allowed in Operations? If they now allow that, it's news to me. Source please.
  3. Yawn. Tactical FP's that are bugged to the point of, many people suggesting that you do them with comps? Those FP's? The ones that offer a pathway to 208 gear? WOW, everyone will be OP then, huh? Give it a rest. Even the H-Skyfortress's offer crap gear. It's still a slow gear grind in ANY content that allows OP comps and you know it. That's..... game-breaking, for sure... You are being intellectually dishonest, period.
  4. I call BS. When OP comps 'can' be tuned down manually, there is no argument against them, unless you just want to feel more elite than bad or casual players. Otherwise, world PVP is the issue. I've been here since before launch, sub'd the entire time. But I cancelled after the nerf. I re-upped for now, after finally getting a response. It's bad business, to create an entire expansion around companions and then a month into it, nerf them to the ground. To the point that they are worse then pre-xpac. It's an obvious misstep. I personally don't think the angst on the forums did much to catch their attention, I think the real cancellation numbers did. Addendum: I believe they should be based on your gear and maybe at rank 50, be 110 or 120% better than your gear, to make up for derpiness of the comps.
  5. You almost came through with complete honesty. Next time, just be completely honest and drop the intellectual dishonesty. World PVP is the only real concern. Why aren't you world PVP'rs, asking for 100% damage increase to OP'd comps? or 100% damage vulnerability to comps from players? This would be a more logical approach and you would get less push-back from casual PVE'rs. Stop trying to mask your argument and you may get less push-back.
  6. Stop, just stop. Pretty much everything you said here is 100% wrong. WoW did not have unique content 1-30 at launch, you're showing your Cataclysm here, pull up your pants. 1-10 wasn't even class/race unique. Trolls and Orcs? duh. Your credibility was lost there and it further went south when you said it had BG's at launch. **** plz. You are wrong. Edit: Molten Bore. Who would bring that up as a positive? lmao.
  7. You obviously do not know what resolve is. The biggest problem Sage's have at the moment is that because of our light armor and zero defensive CD's, resolve essentially does not exist for us. By the time my bar is full, I'm dead. You for example, by the time you pop that defensive CD, have a full resolve bar, same with Assassins... Hell, same with BH's and Operatives... So right when you pop your overpowered defensive CD, your resolve bar is full and ALL of our massive amount of CC and control is USELESS. Did you get that? USELESS. I know what you're going to say, don't fill their resolve bar. Bad news, we aren't dueling in warzones, other people are there as well. They don't listen when I tell them not to fill the resolve bar on that guy, most of them don't even know what it is. Either give us the best defensive CD of all Advanced Classes or let 1 or 2 of our control abilities completel ignore resolve. Doesn't sound good to you does it? Because the playing field will at that point be level. I get it. I won't go so far as to say all Assassins and Mauraders are unbeatable, that's rediculous, some players are horrible. That being said, the best Sage / Sorcs against the best Assassins/Shadows and Marauders/Sents... it's a losing proposition 90% of the time. I spoke with my wallet, my account is cancelled... something needs to be done before June 18th, at that point I will sadly take my money elsewhere.

  9. Bleh, I don't want to start up a flame war again... ...but try this, play a pure dps and try to find a good dps geared tankassin. I do not begrudge a Tankassin the abilities and utilities they have, I've played my wife's toon, it's fun, it's cool as hell. It's those abilities and utility coupled with dps gear that "breaks" the balance. Make it to where dps gear requires a spec other than Kinetic, there's an option... hehe. As to whether I know how to play my class, I won't argue the point other than to say that there may be 2 others that play my class on my server that beat me more than 50% of the time in 1v1 scenarios. I know my class pretty well and execute it's cababilities pretty well also.
  10. Ok, we find some common ground. I don't have a pre-made to queue with. I solo queue. I've solo queued my way WH with full battlemaster and 2 insignificant WH pieces. Balance cannot start with optimal pre-made groups. The way to achieve it is by the over-stated, rock/paper/scissors. Maybe an operative is the answer to an Tankassin, but I doubt it, due to the amount of damage the Tankassin can mitigate from the operative. Look, I'm not new to MMO's, I didn't start with this game or WoW, I've been playing MMO's for 13+ years now. There is a reason holy-trinity has been around for that time span and a reason for rock/paper/scissors. I don't claim to know every AC and their capabilities, but I've been farmed enough by one class, the same one my wife plays (that I help her spec and gear) to know that it needs to be brought in-line somehow. Some of it is the absolute disreguard by Bioware for the well established self-evident-truths of MMO design... such as a tank shouldn't be able to do comparable dps to pure dps classes, that a light armor, no defensive CD class should have the best dps and burst of all classes, etc, etc... Admittedly, my grievence isn't with just DPS Tankassins, but with Bioware's complete failure to balance all of the classes. Tankassins having a counter to everything I can do, is just a glaring sore spot.

From a Sorc/Sage perspective, it's because if I'm protecting a node or door and a single tankassin comes to take it, the fight will always and I mean always start at melee range with me being incapcitated in some way. Now, starting with those cirucmstances (and me falling back on someone saying I am the counter to them), what chance do I have other than none. Calling for help is all there is. I agree with your assesment of Vanish. I've actually played against a Tankassin perfectly a few times, that is, anticipated what they were anticipating me doing and being reactive and completely unpredictable. Almost had him, had the upper hand and.... poof! Vanish. lawl.
  12. Because I used generic terminology for being able to stop their missles? You're grasping. And failing. I'm using 1v1 arguments because someone earlier in this very thread, said that dps sorcs/sages are THE counter. Let us reset. Remember rock / paper / scissors? Is the light turning on yet?
  13. You're cooler when you type in caps. Don't get so angry about this, the nerf will come regardless of you angry ranting. BTW - if you roll full tank gear in PVP, call me a scrub again... Everyone that knows anything about PVP and the what types of damage can be shielded and how valuable defense is in PVP, knows just how "experienced" you are.
