  2. That's just not true at all. At lvl 15 you can send out 2. At level 25 you can send out 3. It's completely level based. While i can't confirm it yet, at lvl 50 you can send out a max of 5 at once.
  3. I've seen both these issues like this as well. Usually the companion will not sell junk items if you're in a group phase or class phase area. Just go outside and try again. Companions that won't gather resource nodes seems to be a terrain related issue. Either collect it yourself (shift right click) or move to a level plane with the resource node and right click. If the node is above or below your companion they don't seem to be able to collect it.
  4. Just an FYI. Your LS/DS points don't update untill you finish the quest. For example you get 100ds, and 50ls points during your current class quest. When you finish it your morality meter will only add 50ds points to your tally. It's a weird system, but it allows you to be pristinely evil or pristinely good even if you make a few oddball choices.
  5. Great post. This is one of the many reasons this game is fun. Mobs aren't packed together like sardines in most places. There's tons of variety in mob packs. Often I even seek out those elite mobs just to see if they will drop something. If the OP is having trouble with elites, then he needs to try out a champion npc. There are several class quests that are quite difficult but nothing that can't be conquered from either leveling up, using stims, medpacks, or bringing a friend. That is one of the core aspects of the RPG genre.
  6. Minor space mission improvement suggestions This is a suggestion thread not a complaint box. Please post elsewhere if you want to complain about the space combat. I currently enjoy the space combat missions as a daily quest and overall i like it. The space combat should have an "easy to learn hard to master" aspect to it. Here are my suggestions for minor improvements. Bonus objectives should be in stages. Add a running kill total Add more bonus objectives! Add a scoring and rating system. Branching paths based on bonus objectives, difficult targets or ship positioning. Multi-player (this is coming i'm sure) Bonus for protecting friendly fighters and capital ships. Hidden bonus objectives (torpedo capital ship bridge / asteroid / ect.) This may already be in game, i'm not sure. Bonus objectives should give you a higher chance to get more commendations, credits and ship loot. The two big rail shooter series Rebel Assault and Star Fox all had branching paths built into them, adding a lot more replay value and skill requirement. The Star Fox series in particular had most of the above list built into in each game. I do know that the space combat missions become particularly hard in the 40s to 50, and almost require the use of the power conversion module, so i'm looking forward to that and Proton torpedoes.
  7. On the fleet station there is a vendor that has items you can purchase with Fleet Commendations. Of which include an EMP Generator, Electronic Warfare Pod, Power Conversion Module, and Proton Torpedos. EMP Generator: does damage to allies and enemies. Power Conversion Module: lets you switch between extra blaster power and extra shield power (for faster regen), you still have to stop firing to regenerate shields. Proton Torpedos: Lets you destroy the shielded targets (capital ship bridges, ect). Holding down the right mouse button on a target will produce an additional targeting symbol. I believe this takes a second or two before it locks. EWP: Makes you invincible for 10 seconds.
  8. Turn shadows OFF. If they have not been changed at all then the shadows are likely at the low setting. This will cause FPS problems on some machines. When i turned off shadows in the preferences i was able to go from ~9 fps to the 30s.
