  1. That is awesome! Now that's what I'm talking about. People out of their mind thinking outside the box making some incredible creations. Thanks for the links.
  2. How are we wasting YOUR time???? Is it your solemn sworn oath and duty to read our posts? Just put us on ignore and never feel all that wasted time ever again.
  3. Well it can only be better because LOTRO is one of the worse and most disappointing housing systems ever created. Placement hooks restrict a player's creativity. In other MMO's I have seen some amazing decorating ideas with free form placement. What seems absurd, such as placing book shelves on the ceiling or tables placed on top of a flower vase have created some extraordinary designs of an unexpected spiraling stair case or a secret room...etc. SWTOR had a chance to outshine its competitors and they failed miserably. Sure it will be a nice little system. The Devoted will adore, defend, and accept the inferior setup. But why strive for mediocrity when there was an opportunity for excellence?
  4. I never said that. I enjoy FP's and Ops. Its my favorite gaming activity. I said 5 million is a lot of credits. I said I despise doing dailies over and over again. Its simple minded face rolling. Its not entertainment so I don't do them. I have a job. I have a family. I sure am not going to spend my limited gaming time doing the dailies.
  5. Dailies are mind numbing and painfully boring. I like how you say "willing", it shows you agree with me how dull and tedious they are.
  6. Because it is. Yes now go ahead and share how awesome you are for having that kind of disposable treasury.
  7. If the system is anything like LOTRO, they really messed up. Badly.
  8. I think the sales through CM would be minuscule if everyone can craft them. The ones that cant craft will buy them. I don't think they will be easy items to craft.
  9. I know everyone is screaming "They can be crafted" If its that simple, why would anyone buy it from the CM? There are a shipload of skill 450 crafters. There are going to be lots and lots of crafters. I don't see the demand being greater than the supply. I'm guessing the CM versions will be bigger, brighter, better?
  10. How many items can we store? Will it be just as big as a guild bank? Maybe, not as painful on the tab costs?
  11. I'm with you. The blind devotion and worship of this game by some of players boggles me. IMO they do more harm than good to the longevity and innovation of SWTOR.
  12. The CM has made SWTOR the great game that it is today. We don't need advertising. We don't need more subscribers. I heart SWTOR. I wish I could marry it.
  13. And I'm sure the OP thanks you for the bump. Way to get your point across.
  14. I don't see people demanding for magical fixes. I mean how do you demand things from a video game? I think I have read one (maybe 2, gasp!) thread(s) of a player asking for a refund for downtime. It was absurd and comical, but guess what I did, or rather didn't? I didn't let it get to me. Everyone here seems to be in agreement that content release has slowed and queue wait times have been growing. So why bash them for stating it? The hostility and personal attacks are not from the complainers... Also customer service goes a very long way: A year ago I paid my groceries through self check out at the market. I used my debit card so I can draw an extra $60. Idiot and absent minded, I left the money in the dispenser. I called my bank Chase and shared my stupidity with them. They freaking credited my account with my lost money :-) Didn't cost them much, but that gesture will stay with me forever. I am a lifetime customer. You may not understand that, but most successful companies do. Customers are absurd, greedy, and yes sometimes wrong. Businesses need customers.
  15. Says the guy who believes planetary taxi rides should fade to black.
  16. I am working during the streams. Are they recorded and available for anyone to view later?
  17. I like to sit back and enjoy the view. It's perty. It's immersive. Alderaan isn't going to be around forever you know. Crap no spoiler alert! My Bad.
  18. 3 minutes? Are you serious? Didn't know it was a whole 3 minute ride! Never mind everyone, please disregard this entire thread. 3 minutes...
  19. I will never forget the pressure and nervousness I felt typing in TILTOWAIT for the first time. *Sniff
  20. Okay fair enough. If the bind was not set for the QT, then charge the taxi fee. Bind once you get there for the free QT.
  21. Yes you really should follow your own advice... If complaints over long taxi rides was the determining factor on the fade to black, why bother with a taxi station? Why not just direct everyone to use fast travel? If FT is on cool down, then charge the taxi price. And don't say the taxis are for immersion....the fade to black is immersion breaking.
