It is amazing that this coincided exactly when Bioware cashed out to EA. The op was right, things are moving to smaller, leaner studios that have to put heart in there games. Old school Bioware was one of them. Mass Effect 1 is still the best in the series by a landslide.

Rated warzones have to include a full premade team option. To have your rating affected by 4 pugs that join you? That is a recipe for disaster. In the end it does not matter. Diablo 3 is right around the corner and will utterly destroy this game. Hardcore hell runs, rated arena, real money auction house, on the 360, please....

Dude i dont think even the people who played those classes thought the game was good. I mean they went down to 2 servers in record time. This was also a 100 million dollar project handled by mythic. For laughs youtube a 'choppa' and 'melee range' to see a glaring example of how mythic fixes things lol. Its amazing how fast we forget (or what they hope is how fast we forget).

I lol'd a little hearing peeps defend Mythic or Warhammer Online in general. Bright Wizards and Sorcs were broke, still broke. Mythic changed the magical resistance so it capped at 40% instead of 75%. As another poster mentioned, a gaurded/healed bw or sorc completly negated their mechanic ( burst damage/glass cannon role). But what i found amusing with Mythic was the fact they broke balance so bad, that they actually were blanket nerfing underpowered classes to try and fix the bw/sorc mess. The end result was actually buffing the bw while nerfing the sucker of the month (for instance my engineer). These are the people in charge of the pvp in this game. And i still am seeing the same 'amatuer hour' stuff that a 100 million dollar game should not be having. Ability delay? Age of conan is like 5 years old has collision and better graphics, and is more responsive that this garbage. Anyways, back to battlefield 3 where at least those devs know what pvp is. And really, is this game going to survie diablo 3? I mean cmon. Ranked pvp, real money auction house, hardcore hell runs. On my 360. Lol indeed.

I am from the camp that says let everyone know, and encourage them to break the game as much as possible. There really is no excuse for these things. But when you hire your boys as testers and not take things serious, you wind up with a broke game.

You are right. But dude, you are comparing turbine to this lazy trash of a dev team that is mythic/bioware. And btw lotro had this too. Pvp is so much better when pugs can talk, and not have to worry about alt rabbing, and entering server info every time they are in a group. Anyways, why the 360 will dominate gaming here and soon.

The hilarity in all this is that dice has probably the best multiplayer game engine right now, and they did not take advantage of it (and they are in the same corporation).vl

Hey op, peeps talk smack on bioware cause they cashed out to ea. So now instead of classics (like mass effect 1), we get garbage like mass effect 2 where they dumb the game down and get rid of planets/mako. Please they can go to hell.
