  1. An 8/10 right now. I would love to rate it higher, but a lot of the later zones have a lot of bugs. The game still has a ton of room for improvement, and it's missing a lot of common features that even other launch day MMORPGs had. I have a lot of faith though that Bioware will continue to support SWTOR and add new features and fix issues. For now though it is a bit rough around the edges in the later half of the game.
  2. Some of you people have horrible reading comprehension. It is a bug, whether or not Bioware knows about it, I have no idea. I hope they do, because it's very annoying. My quest log is filling up with quests now that I can't abandon. The button for it is grayed out when I select that quest.
  3. I stopped reading replies after this post. Nothing else needs to be said.

The queues on a handful of servers are pretty damn long, dont get me wrong, I saw 2 hours on one server, but 8 hours? Lets not make things up. People at least need to be honest in their complaints.

  4. this, tho i have the physical key, i didnt use it, i use my iphone instead. but i dont like typing it in every time so ill probably drop it, it's not worth it (i just wanted to see the crap in the vendor).

Don't remove the authenticator, it is always best to be safe then sorry. You would be surprised at how determined people out there are to steal MMORPG accounts. It's extremely common in World of Warcraft, and with as popular as SWTOR is right now, a lot of accounts are already being hijacked.

once u register ur cd key you can lose it you need to re download you go through your account on this page

He is talking about the authenticator for account security. Once you enter your CD-Key, you can delete the e-mail or throw away the piece of paper for all anyone cares, it doesn't matter anymore, it's tied to your account forever.

  5. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that we have to visit a separate NPC to respec our training points. Wouldn't it be easier and more accessible to just have every class trainer in the game offer this service instead? I see way to many players ask where the respec NPC is, so this is clearly causing an issue.
  6. For me personally, SWTOR will replace WoW. It's not because I hate WoW though, far from it. Some of my best multiplayer memories have come from WoW (also some of my most frustrating). It's just that i've played WoW since the closed beta of the vanilla version. It's time to put the game away for good, I just don't enjoy playing it anymore, but it's really not because of anything Blizzard has done.
  7. Come on. Why not do this tomorrow at 4 am or something. I have never seen an MMO do it during the day. It is not very customer friendly

You need to understand though that they have to plan the maintenance for Europe as well. Regardless of the time they use, someone, somewhere in the world is going to get the bad end of the deal.

  8. Auto-Attack in other MMORPGs was just there to fill the void between waiting on cool downs but it never did any meaningful damage. The devs couldn't balance it to do so either, otherwise that is all players would bother to use. So I can understand why Bioware didn't bother to have it at all in SWTOR.

We've come a long way from the days of Ultima Online and Everquest where Auto-Attack was the only ability you usually had if you were a melee character.
