Grats when you get there, I just got 50 yesterday, and am working on an alt. Enjoying the game, some folks were having problems with the launcher in our guild, one guy that was on vent in particular. He looked at his logs and figured out how to remedy it himself, and got ingame after many hours of being stuck on the download screen. Trying time to be sure, at the same time..he still really wants to play. I would say that anyone with problems like that should be contacting customer service for more advice, or attempting to read the HELPFUL areas on this forum, not the "beeching sections". hehe This too shall pass.

Tsk tsk..don't get your panties in a twist. First off..you have many unfounded assumptions in the above statement. Don't like what I have to say? Don't read it. I haven't bashed a single person..any references I have made have been generic, I have not targetted anyone or called them by name, unlike the trolls that hang out here. I have not shouted nothing is wrong...I do my constructive criticism to customer service..that little question mark at the top of your screen ingame. I submit bug reports all the time. I also state when I think something is over the top gameplay wise. But I direct it at the people that can do something about it....and it ain't the forum moderators....go figure huh? Now as to your name calling perhaps you would like to take that back? Or I could help you do that by reporting your tantrummy little behind? Good Post. What I am hoping is..those that are TRULY UNHAPPY (are they really..or just after some much needed attention??) Will do the sane thing..and depart. I really don't get the why of...they dun like da game..so they are gonna sit on the forums for forever..and gripe, gripe, gripe? If it were me..and I "have" done this a few times, if it were me and I was THAT greatly displeased, I would just up and cancel my account. Been there done that many times. If I come to the forums, it's usually for information. Griping isn't information..it's not even constructive criticism. Those that gripe want changes made. Some in this thread would be quite happy if their wishes were granted and SWTOR was made into a Wow clone. Then they could sit back ..point fingers and yell...SEE?!?!? It's a Wow clone. Be careful what you wish for. As for changes and constructive criticism. Does ANYONE read patch notes??? Anyone??? Patch notes detail exactly what bug fixes...patches, updates (free game updates..who da thunk it?) Have been implemented. If you don't read..and MANY do not seem to have this skill these days...(what on earth do they teach in school..*shakes head*) then you miss a lot of information. The same stuff you all have been griping about in this thread. Doomsayers......doomsayers make me laugh, firstly because, the information they spew out on the forums is largely baseless, taken from their own vivid imaginations, and inexperience as gamers. What more can I say... Either you're in ..or you're out, quit wasting our time, and quit taking up forum space with all the moaning and groaning. Don't like the game..got a bug? Report bug. Or leave game. Nobody gonna miss ya...and that's the honest truth.

I don't farm..and I don't grind. I do my quests ..my crafting etc. I talk to my guildies..I have fun on vent, and I group with guildies or others on occasion. I love the atmosphere in Tor, and I get a large thrill out of visiting a "new" planet. I am an SWG vet, Elder Master Dancer, TK and Swordsman..Sunrunner server. I am enjoying my time with Tor ..immensely. I would suggest, that games don't grind and games don't farm... People do. Perhaps you are going at it ..like you are still playing Wow. Don't. Try a new class...there is not just ONE STORY..there are more. There are also legacy levels to work on if you are level 50. Myself I wasn't in a big rush to "beat da game". I am level 45, started on the 16th of December. I've been taking time to smell the roses, and frankly I haven't outlevelled my guildies so am not forced to sit around and wait for anyone to catch up. Life is all about choices. If you choose to rush through everything, then you are going to miss alot of stuff. There are many other story lines to experience. Each story adds to the overall lore and understanding about the Tor galaxy/universe. If all you do is farm and grind..then that is your choice to make things as dull as possible for yourself. That is not the game ..that is you.

With "other" failed games..you have already decided..your own little self..that SWTOR has failed? Lemmee see now, official release day was Dec 20, today is Jan 12, 2012. So it hasn't even been a month yet..and you Mr Professional game analyser state that it's already failed and have included it in the pasture with the old games that have been out since 2006 ..2007 ish? My my..does someone pay you to write these things? Or do you believe you are psychic by chance? I've been around the block a few times with games...alpha and beta tested many...and I would say this game has been good thus far. I would also state that the staff on the Bioware team have been working their behinds off..to please people like you... Launch day...Dec 20th..was THE smoothest one I have ever seen in all my years of gaming. Smooth as silk, matter of fact I double checked the day, because I had been in the Early Access and thought perhaps I had got the day wrong. Nope..launch went off without a hitch, I started off early in the day..no glitching, no hitching, no hiccups...a smooth ride. I have a year old computer an i 7 core 2600...used it during the beta test weekends..never did crash. I find this game to be immersive AND addicting. There is always something to do..and people to talk to. Nobody in my guild seems to be wanting to not play. I haven't seen any evidence of ...people dwindling away. I still see the same people I saw in Early Access, for the most part. /shrug Don't know what you are going on about...but I would suggest putting your tinfoil hat away. *wink!*

This..I rarely visit the forum, I am too busy ingame. And I plan on making alts to cover EVERY storyline possible, that means Imperial and Republic. Let those that aren't happy unless they are beeching..beech. I really don't care. Alot of them seem to think that..somewhere out there is THE PERFECT game with no bugs. I have news...there are NO GAMES that are bugless..NONE. Been playing online since 1995...no such animal. Sorreeeeeeeeeeeee. *laughs*. And the trolling that I've seen...here's a good one: A guy pipes up in the general chat, and states that he felt like he just rolled a blood elf. I said..if you are referring to the Sith pureblood..there is NO RESEMBLANCE at all. I think some of these people need glasses, you know, the ones with the thick lenses that resemble the bottom of a coca cola bottle. hehehe Maybe it's wishful thinking on their part..they've only ever played "that" game their whole life and are possibly undergoing culture shock ..and "missing mommy". Chins up..this is a decent game with a few challenges. Can't handle it..call on your friends for help. That's how it works.

To all my Decemberist friends, I got my e-mail at 8:59 this morning, I was a December 10th pre-order with Origins. Other people in my guild who also ordered from Origins got their e-mail as well. Well for sure you definitely need a * round to it* in order for that to work.

THAT my friend is because Bioware lit a fire under Amazons behind, about shipping dates, I am guessing there were a torrent of complaints about Amazon to Bioware... THAT is why the shipping dates were changed to earlier ones, and also why the days of grace were reinstated. so Bioware went the extra mile for their fanbase.

You know..I have been here all this past week reading all this..and responding to it with my own two cents. Today I guess I have become oblivious to it, for one because I havent slept yet, and for two..this thread has mostly not been about having hissy fits..its been about having fun. If people are doing the opposite of that..then they arent true Decemberists.

I have plans to try them all eventually But currently my guild is going Sith, so I am thinking Sith Inquisitor. Tried that in beta, had alot of fun with it.

Huh....what, did I miss something?
