  1. My guess is I'm in the same boat as others, I can deal with the delay as long as there is pve story that interests me, as soon as I see the whole story/lose interest in it, my subscription will stop, and unfortunately, it may be pandas for me.
  2. I know what your saying about wanting to use your saber, but I agree with the other side that it would give even more utility to a class that potentially has the most utility in the game already. Another solution could be to give a lightsaber cc that shared a cooldown with force stun, so you could at least use it in melee range without it being an additional cc. But by making it even on par with our force abilities, it would severely imbalance us as a class compared to others. It would be like a Knight saying he wants a ranged ability that is at least capable of being spammed and does as much damage as a baseline ranged ability of the sage.
  3. This may belong in the class headers, but I am placing it here in hopes to garner more support from both and that devs will see it: I know that there are many threads and many more people saying they want sages/sorcerors to use their lightsaber for something other than deflecting incoming blaster bolts. And I understand both sides of the argument (difficulty in balancing a class that is primarily ranged, but also giving it some melee proficiency). I personally was greatly anticipating playing one back for the brief time in beta when they had some melee in the madness/balance tree. Here I offer a solution that will likely satisfy everyone: give sages/sorcerors a melee range cc that uses the lightsaber(maybe an animation like the twirly finishing move). You could make it be talented, or simply replace force stun (which would technically be a nerf, but honestly, in pvp, i'm in melee range 75% of the time i use it anyway). This way, it would not effect balance and we could all see the lightsaber proficiency that a force wielder should have Leave a post if you like this idea and hopefully it will get some attention.
  4. Pebbles are not what is doing the damage, its the force, and the pebbles are just caught in the wave. I do think its funny that there are pebbles even when you use the ability in a cityscape where there is nothing but metal around.
  5. I don't care about character animation as much as the yellow haze+shatter effect, it just looks lame, at least don't make it yellow. A cool effect would be something like a translucent wave bearing down on the target. That would not be too flashy, but would be a huge improvement over the yellow eggshell effect.
  6. I am leveling Sith assassin and Jedi Shadow just to see the storylines. I have to say, I like all of the animations, project is a good comparison for shock and all. But what is the deal with force breach, it just looks lame compared to the overcharge saber counterpart. I mean seriously, overcharge saber looks sweet, and force breach looks like someone cracked an egg on the target's head, honestly, just make it look like a wave of some kind, with a sound like when we activate force speed. Ok, enough qq. leave a post if you agree.
  7. Its pretty clear to me that Bioware primarily intended for the wrath proc to help with getting crushing darkness on the target, they wanted to be able to ensure that it wouldn't take too long to get the proc, so they gave wrath a high change to activate. This has caused many people to come up with the chain lighting hybrid build to take advantage of this and leave those that go for creeping terror to be left with extra wrath procs that were never originally accounted for in the madness design. I sense a nerf to the wrath proc rate incoming, maybe the 11% that was used for awhile in beta. To a lot of CL spamming enthusiasts lament.
  8. Got put on Iron Citadel at the beginning of early access, now I have 2 level 20s, but I have to wait over and hour to play them. Guess ill have to reroll to jedi so I can see the new story.
  9. If you want to make a DK comparison, a darkness/madness assassin might fit the bill, more defense with some mid range capabilities, no healing except for self-heals, sounds pretty much like a DK to me.
  10. I have a friend who said hes in, 28th, but maybe hes messing with me
  11. Confirmed, second wave at Aug 28th, I'm the 29th
