    It's a little frustrating to do, but you can take it back out of a weapon at a modification station for a small fee. And then carry it around in your inventory again, or swap it until you get a new weapon. It would be nice if there was a way to send a new one to yourself though, to save lugging it around, and also if you have dual blasters/sabers...
