  1. I don't care about your PvP. It has nothing to do with me.

However, people are messing with my PvE over it and that's not cool.

Operatives and Scoundrels are already bottom-feeders when it comes to PvE DPS viability.

After 1.1.1, no group that wants to do the best it can will bring a Scoundrel or Operative in for DPS.

BioWare already proving they listen to the person who cries the loudest, and doesn't listen to reason. These nerfs are far too much and are going to completely cripple the AC. Scoundrels and Operatives may as well spec healing (which is also pretty laughable) if they want to be accepted anywhere.

But hey, if they listen to the community as well as they did about Ilum, I'm sure everything will turn out A-OK.

  2. ...we list some ideas as players for devs to read and get input from?

What's really funny is that many here don't seem to remember WoW's early days, when things were exploited, out of balance, professions were - uh - not there, etc... It took time to get it right. Let's give BW a chance to get it right as well.

    My ideas / thoughts:

PVP - help offset unbalanced zones by buffing the outnumbered (a la WG in WoW).

Professions - make each have some BOP items that give significant buffs in different ways...lower commendation vendor item quality (or make it much harder to get...like faction rep in WoW).

FPS - Really people...you need more RAM in 90% of the cases. This game is more graphically intensive than WoW...dumb down your graphics or get more RAM. My rig is old, and I have to run TOR on low...but it still looks better than WoW atm.

I know...TLDR - if you have ideas, post. If you want to rage on, make your own thread and act like a fool there. :)

You must be new around here.

BioWare listens to NONE of the feedback that their players give them. Just look at the state the game shipped in. At least 50 bugs that had been present throughout beta were there for launch. Ability delay had 1000+ posts EVERY beta, and wasn't acknowledged until 4000+ posts after release.

BioWare is going to continue doing what they do. Ignore the fact that they are drowning and keep calling it a success, while pushing out trash like 1.1 that just further breaks the game.

I have seen dozens and dozens of posts by people who suggest a TINY change to the game where I find myself saying, "wow, that'd actually be pretty awesome" and nothing happens. BioWare cares not what the community thinks, only that they keep paying.

  3. This is the update and official response on the state of Ilum?

    Wow.

Don't ignore the fact that massive faction imbalance makes it pointless for Republic to even consider going to Ilum. Or the fact that controlling bases means next to nothing when you're outnumbered 30:1.

Ilum is a massive fail. BioWare needs to get their head on straight and ADMIT THAT THEY FAILED.

These "fixes" are a band-aid on a broken leg.

  4. Considering that the mounts we already have are animated, this sounds like something that someone has made up entirely.

Question: are there plans to add more vanity pets and non-mechanical mounts to the game?

    Stephen Reid's response: Non-mechanical mounts - maybe, it's a technical challenge, I've been told

  5. would it be worth using as a non sawbones situationally?

like if you only had 7 in sawbones tree, spot healing but wanted to conserve energy? Or is the 3 second channel better in that regard.

Diagnostic Scan is never a viable heal. If you're not deep Sawbones it shouldn't even be on your hotbar. It's an energy regeneration skill.

  6. You do realize classes are 100% mirrored except for companion-and-you-only (aka non-warzone) small buffs every 5 minutes right?

Then explain why the IA's flash grenade has a 60 second CD whereas the Smuggler equivalent has a 90 second CD.

    "Mirrored classes". Riiiight.

  7. Actually lvl 50, and 40 at the pvp rank, i only use kolto pack when i am kicked on Underworld Medicine.

20 energy+ 1 upperhand is way too expensive compared to the UM (25 energy but proc a free UH)+EM combo.

The casting time difference is meaningless once u get enought haste.

At least remove 10 energy from the cost or up the amount of healing done...

Agreed. As it is now, Kolto Pack is completely useless. .5 seconds and 5 energy less than UM means nothing when it barely heals for ~35% more than EM, which costs 0 energy and is instant cast. Kolto needs a small HoT to make it worthwhile.

Right now it is 1527 - 1828 healing for me. It should remain that plus 290 - 347 healing over 6 seconds, stacks up to three times. New stacks refresh timer.
