  1. Sorry I should have been more clear, it is on the launcher when I start the game up. It isn't the security key. As the person above me stated, the email takes a random length of time, so sometimes I am just twiddling my thumbs waiting to start, I'm just curious as to why it constantly asks me, even if I had been playing 10 minutes prior.
  2. Am I the only one who gets this? Why do I get it? I mean, I play in the same place and on the same device all the time, using the same internet. If I log out for 30 minutes or so to go eat, I have to wait for the one time password. If I get disconnected, same thing. What's the issue? It may not seem like much but having to do it every time gets a bit grating.
  3. Chill, it does not make me a psychopath, merely my character a psychopath. Seems like you have a chip on your shoulder there. My Wrath is a total psychopath, he is insane and he is a zealot. The majority of the dark side options reflect a real lack of intelligence on the characters behalf, it is just mindless violence. Based on the majority of responses given, the Wrath would not care about the Sith. If you take one interpretation of the Sith code then by and large, the Sith code itself is moot, because a Sith will do anything and everything to obtain power, even going against the code. It argues power is obtained through conflict, but often the strong are defeated in conflict, giving rise to the ones who were smart enough to hide in the shadows. Who is the stronger one in that case? You argue that my Wrath is far worse than the Emperor, because at least he has a point, but he does have a point. Its pretty evident as I suggested that he places no value on life, his main goals appear to be death and destruction, it does not bother him who or what he steps on to obtain that. He is violence made manifest. Your claiming he is brain dead, and to a large extent I would agree with that, but your basing that off the fact that he gains nothing from the Emperor's plan. If my Wrath despises all life, then the logical conclusion for him would be for life to end. People die for causes all the time, whether you understand it or not does not matter. A dark side Wrath most likely has no emotions outside of hatred and disgust. In short you totally dismiss a view because you don't understand it or are willing to give it any credence. Sounds pretty "brain dead" to me.
  4. I actually feel quite strongly about this. To start with I will say everything I write down is from my own interpretation and experience of the Wrath's storyline. Personally, my Wrath would stay loyal to the Emperor, even knowing what he plans to do. I mean first of all, Wrath is a Sith. This is an organization which, despite rules to the contrary, revels in death be it enemies of the Empire or fellow Sith. Throughout the story the character displays (if you followed the dark side) a total disregard for the sanctity of life, be it his/ her own or other peoples. Hoth springs to mind when you combat the Jedi Master at the end, fighting him despite the fact the cave is coming down, something the Jedi Master alludes to during the fight. In terms of other peoples life, the fact he/ she has mercilessly slaughtered hundreds, even thousands of enemies indicates the point I was also making. The Wrath owes his position to the Emperor. He gave him back something worth more than life to him, he gave him a chance at vengeance, which probably has a higher value to the Wrath. The Emperor is the embodiment of power, about the only thing the Wrath seems to respect or even strive for and what he is planning, is lets be honest, something many Sith themselves would quite happily attempt to do. The Emperor is the only one worthy of that loyalty, the same way in which the Dread Masters towed the line until his disappearance. Before the events of Shadow of Revan, the Wrath was free to run riot and follow his passion of murder and chaos, turning on the Emperor surely nullifies his position in the Empire, his rank losing all distinction and legitimacy if the Emperor is an enemy. Maybe I thought about it too much or maybe I have drawn the wrong conclusions, but personally, I would side with the Emperor, regardless, causing that much death and destruction the Emperor plans is just too good an idea to get in the way of. NOTE: I understand in terms of gameplay why we had to turn on him, I am just saying from a logical/ story standpoint from my Wrath's viewpoint.
  5. My issue with this whole storyline is that my Emperor's Wrath wouldn't betray the Emperor. Yes, siding with the Emperor would mean death for the Wrath and the galaxy at large, but the way I played my Wrath was, despite being a murderous, egotistical psychopath, he viewed the Emperor with the only one worthy of his loyalty, which for the large part kept me in line. He owes his position to the Emperor. I was disappointed for all my loyalty and thuggery on behalf of the Emperor, I never get to see it through to the end. As you can tell, I'm a huge Vitiate fan.
  6. Graphics aren't so much an issue, as the direction which TOR went in regards to Revan. I mean the guy you play in KotOR is Revan, and knowing the fate which awaits you kind of ruins the whole game for you, in that it all seems really pointless, you know that this character you're taking through all the events turns out to be a total douche. He seemed alright in Maelstrom Prison but in the Foundry he is a douche. I learned what happens in ME3 at the end, so I decided not to even bother playing it as it would ruin my memories of ME1 and ME2, although just knowing what happens still kind of ruins it for me. Maybe Bioware's just lost the plot in regards to story telling?
  7. For me Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic will probably be my all time favourite game. I loved everything about it, but most of all I loved the characters. I recently picked it up again, having played through The Old Republic for a bit of a nostalgia trip. Much to my dismay however I didn't seem to get into it as much as I thought I should have done. After giving it some thought I came to the conclusion that subsequent KotOR media has totally ruined the game for me and the characters. Not all of it is Bioware's fault of course, the comic book KotOR being a total joke and ruining Malak's character beyond belief also has played a major part. But the game seems rather pointless, knowing what I now know. (SPOILER ALERT: For anyone who's not played the original game). I feel like a total joke playing as the main character as you know the silly fate which awaits him. Going totally bonkers and getting totally trashed by 4 Sith characters later on. It feels like everything you do in that game is for nothing. I've heard many rumblings about Revan's appearance in TOR but it didn't bother me too much until I played KotOR again. Curious to know how others feel?
  8. Wingmaw on Tython is bugged for me and so is Savrip on Ord Mantell. Oh and a Datacron on Courscant, says there are 6 in the Codex but all the guides say there are only five.
  9. I'm curious as to what the point in introducing the concept of Midichlorians actually were? I mean it had no impact on the story whatsoever, did not advance the plot line in anyway.
  10. I've recently been doing the start planets and everytime I create a new character to go on them, I do my best to complete each planet, collecting codex entries, datacrons etc. However during my journeys I've come across some Codex Entries which are impossible to get due to some glitch or the other. The ones I can think of from the top of my head I will list below, is anyone else getting this as well? Korriban Sith Academy Imperial Scholar Ord Mantell Mon Calamari Kel Dor Hutta Czerka Corporation Hutt Cartel These are the ones I can think of from the top of my head, I'll have to take not of any others. Incase you're wondering how I know what I am missing, I have checked against known databases on websites and correlated it with each subcategory on the planets section in the Codex to see how many I am missing from each planet and each category on that planet.
