  1. I bought a Naga for Christmas since I've been wanting a gaming mouse for some time and I was also curious if it would improve my gameplay experience in SWToR. So I paired it up with the Razer Scarab and even though it felt literally ALIEN to have buttons under your thumb and it was definitely not as easy to get used to them as I had initially thought, after a week or so of using the mouse for a few hours every day it totally blew me away. On the Scarab the glide is silky smooth and precise and the ergonomics of the mouse make every gaming session a dream. I would recommend it to anyone wholeheartedly, but with the added word of caution that the first few days might be potentially frustrating!
  2. Could you please tell us how you did that? It's at least some improvement
  3. Figure 3 in that paper is exactly what's going on in the game right now!
  4. The second .exe is probably the remote renderer, causing our fps to plummet.
  5. Mother of God, look at the difference that makes. We might have struck gold if we can force these textures
  6. That perfectly shows how the potential of this game is neglected in a most perverse way, for the sake of "good" performance which isn't even there...
  7. I've got an overclocked 580GTX on my desktop, but I'm not seeing that quality either. No one does!
  8. That is the quality we were promised right there. Crisp, high res textures and perfect AA. I doesn't matter if I can't run it on my laptop, I sure as hell would be able to on my desktop back home!
  9. They might delete the posts and lock down the threads on the swtor forums, but other websites have already picked up the news. There's little they can do about that, except bribing them.
  10. Talk about us people with low-end machines not being able to run the game, huh... More like can't run the release client!
  11. My laptop ran those high textures and everything else except shadows (which were disabled entirely) to the max at 1920x1080 and the gameplay was butter smooth. Now I'm getting 15-20 fps on low settings on the same laptop
